I just received this yesterday. It had been a while since I ordered it and I had forgotten about it. At first I couldn't tell what it was because it is in two parts when it arrives. There are no instructions with it. I fiddled around and kept pushing a random button (no words printed about what the button is). I finally made it work and it does seal things up but I have no idea how I made it work..! I don't know what to do next time either. I don't know if it is suppose to heat up for some time or what. Then I burnt my finger on the little pad as I still continued to fiddle but I am just at a loss. It would be really nice to have instructions. I will try to use it.

Useless piece of junk and dangerous to keep in the drawer with the battery on. shipping took way too long, battery cover doesn't stay in place, and item broke on the first use. gave one star too many. Trash

I ordered several of these Sealers so I can give some as Christmas gifts. I am very unhappy with them though because once you put the batteries in, the little heating element heats up even though it is not pressed together. I tried to use it to seal one of those metallic bags that come inside a box of crackers, but it did not work on that. Maybe it doesn't work on metallic bags. I haven't tried it on anything else yet. I had to remove the batteries, as it continued to stay hot with them in. While removing the batteries, the little heating element fell out and when I went to pick it up, it burned my fingers. This seems like it's going to be too much effort to have to put batteries in to use it and then take the batteries back out to store it. I would just return them, but it would cost me more to return them than it would to keep them.

These work if you are very attentive. It takes some practice to avoid tearing/ripping the plastic. Make sure the battery is VERY good or it just causes problems when sealing. The bottom line is with practice and attention they will work.

I bought this because I thought it would be neat to use but it's very flimsy and I dropped it on day two shattering it to pieces. Never got to actually properly test it out.

Thing is awesome works great I wouldn't put it on the refrigerator after you put batteries in it. it will fall right off so the only bad thing I have to say so far is the magnet on the back does not hold up

Great kitchen gadget....keep it handy! you will be amazed at how many time you will use it; once you get "used" to using it. Even works on non-zip bags. Great for chips, bread, cereal, cookies...even the bags...in the box (i.e.cereal) Didn't give it 5 starts only because it is not as solid/sturdy as the one I had before. Still a great product...function and environmentally.

Fragile, light plastic. But does work. Battery compartment lid falls off frequently. And magnetic back doesn't work at all.
