CAMERA NOW HAS HIGH-DEF (HD) VIDEO RESOLUTION SETTING!
INDOOR CAMERA NOW HAS HD SETTING...I hesitated to purchase this camera due to all the bad reviews about the quality of the video. However, I decided I would go ahead and buy it so I could compare it next to the Nexia Home Intelligence Outdoor Camera that I had recently purchased.. After setting it up with my Nexia system, I was very happy to see that the Indoor Camera actually has 3 Video Resolution Levels (Low 320x240, High 640x480 and HD 1280x720) versus just 2 Video Resolution Levels for the Outdoor Camera (Low 320x240 and High 640x480). After setting up the Indoor Camera next to the Outdoor Camera to compare them side-by-side, it was easy to see that the Indoor camera works great especially on the HD setting which is much clearer than the "High" Video Resolution Level on the Outdoor Camera.I am really happy that I decided to give this Camera a try...the video is very clear, easy to setup with Nexia and can be positioned as necessary with the adjustable stand. I plan on purchasing another one.

Works fine, but not for all purposes.
*See comments for review update*While I really love most of the Schlage/Nexia Home Intelligence accessories, this camera is the exception. It works as it should, but purchasers should understand that the video data is not streamed directly for viewing inside your local network; instead the video data is first streamed across the Internet (encrypted, if I remember correctly) to Nexia's IT infrastructure, and then sent back down to your computer or mobile device for viewing. This causes sometimes significant delays between what the camera is seeing real-time and what's shown on the screen. This also can effect the quality of the image as well. I believe this is done to make the images available from anywhere on multiple devices, but it isn't a very efficient implementation IMHO.I captured network traffic to/from the device in order to see exactly where it was going to/coming from, and these were my findings. I attempted to confirm this with the company, but have yet to get a response. If you're simply looking for a camera to occasionally view/record images from both a PC/Mac or smartphone, this is a decent solution. If you're looking for a robust surveillance solution, I would not recommend this.Disclaimer: If someone from Schlage/Nexia disputes this account, kindly contact me providing accurate details and I will gladly retract or amend this review.

Doesn't Run at Full Resolution Because of Nexia's Software
Unfortunately it looks like Nexia got the cart before the horse on this camera. After setting up the camera, i compared its resolution to the resolution of my other Nexia indoor cameras. This one is running at the same resolution as the older cameras, 640x480. I called tech support and they confirmed that their software currently only supports this lower resolution. They assured me that the camera is indeed capable of 720 resolution, and that they are working on a software upgrade to support viewing at the higher resolution. Unfortunately they didn't give me a timetable on the upgrade.Other than Nexia's viewable resolution, the camera is adequate. As long as you have an average knowledge of these types of devices and know how to follow directions, setup shouldn't be a problem for you. The camera displays a decently clear image during the daytime (at 480 resolution), but is pretty fuzzy in infrared night vision mode. I have it installed outside under the cover of a carport (Nexia Schlage doesn't recommend it being outside) and I haven't had any connectivity issues so far.UPDATE: Nexia's software now supports recording in 720p on this camera. Using the Nexia website, you can view or download recordings at 720p. However, you are still only able to view real time video in 480p. I have adjusted my rating up to 3 stars because of the added recording resolution.

Easy to setup and great pictures
This indoor camera was easy to setup and enable it to be wireless. The picture quality is great and goes great with my other Nexia products. I will definitely purchase again if I have the need for multiple indoor cameras

Will fail after a 1year
Terrible WIFI radio, even when its 5 feet from different routers. I have had a bunch of these and they are garbage. A cheap $20 camera sold for $200. Used every generation of their garbage since 2010. The Nest camera I purchased have yet to fail

Works great. Love being able to see video on my phone. In addition to security use, I use it to check on my son when he's hanging out in the media room with his friends.
