seeing where people complained about feedback I was methodical when i set it up and it is producing good sound with just a rare occaisonal tweet. i am confident i can tune it more precisely yet if necesary. the reason i held back a star is because of the absence of a manual. a single 8.5 x 11 sheet with maybe eight pictures and inadequate descriptions is NOT a manual, and the directions were obviously written in English As A Second language so i have questions that should be explained in a real manual. there is one button that is apparently used for all adjustments. you can pushit straight down and you can move it sideways. with that uni control you can chage the volume and the mode with guesswork. there are a couple other features, too with no clue how to set.

I have suffered from moderate hearing loss for about 6-7 years now. I have tried the very expensive in the ear devices...about $3,500 each and found them not to be very beneficial so I did without. As time went on and I just could not hear my boss or co-workers very well and simple conversations have been avoided...I saw these small German made hearing aids being advertised as a lifesaver. Yet, it was difficult to find someone just to try a pair. So I went onto Amazon and found these that looked very similar.I read the reviews and they seemed positive so I thought the very least, buy them and if I don't like them...I can send them back.Well I bought them and have had them on for about 4-5 days now. I am totally blown away by what I have not been hearing. I really bought them for my work. My conference meetings. One on one with my co-workers and my boss who is Korean and very soft spoken. One of the girls in our office who talks so softly, I was just tired of saying...WHAT all the time. These hearing amplifiers are pretty amazing. They are not perfect but I really have nothing else to compare. Bottom line is I can hear everything now.It takes a little getting used to. Even as I type this, I can hear all my keyboard strokes where as before it was silence. Now, there is a bit of an echoing sound. Almost to the point of there being a bucket over your head but not quite that bad. You can turn them down but then some of your hearing is diminished. There are different modes but I have yet to figure that out as you have to push the button in certain ways. A bit confusing. Also, be sure the battery goes in easy or the battery door will easily break which mine did.One of the disappointing things is that I cannot use a regular phone with them because you suffer from feedback. So, I just pop one of them out for that.Would I buy them again? Yes...I would. I am even thinking of getting another pair for home and for work. Give them a try...I think you will like them.

These are better than I hoped! It’s comfortable, good volume control.Brought tears to my eyes to hear the sound of mouse clicking againand so many other things that I had not realized I hadn't heard for so long.It took a few weeks. Still getting used to Programs and when to use.Have used them in a variety of situations: concert, church, one to one discussions, in group situations, watching TV.The Hearing Aids have helped in each situation.Thank you so much!

This amplifier is tiny enough to be virtually invisible. The choices in program and volume are great, the only con I have is the control button has to be so tiny it is hard to consistently hit it while the unit is in your ear.

The hearing aid works just as expected. It has an ultralight weight which makes it easy to carry and wear all the time. Noise canceling is another great feature. The volume level can be adjusted through the push button but I would say since it is too small sometimes it is hard to get hold on it. Not a big deal though.

I am impressed with the TD-99 performance.I purchased these to see if they would actually reduce background noise, All I can say is, "It really works!"I can carry on a conversation without asking people to repeat themselves. it bring speech sounds up loud enough to be able to hear and converse in noisy environments.If you have a hearing problem, don't delay, buy yours today.

Did not work for me. Constant echo and loud squeel.

Compared to the hearing aids I had before, these are so good.Also, I hardly noticed that I am wearing them and they are not conspicuous to others.Great company to deal with and answered all of my questions. Good products. I am very pleased.
