Some things, I truly believe, are TOO quality and hold up for too long that they need to be replaced with inferior products. This has been great. So far I've had it for 6 years, I probably can keep it for another 6. Highly recommended.

Sturdy and lightweight; I'll be using this for my backpacking trips in the future. It sure beats paying $50 for a fancy shock-cord chair that doesn't feel durable. Four instead of five stars because of the plastic clip that holds the straps on the bottom; I worry it will break over time and would appreciate and all-metal construction.

Worthless. I purchased to support back while breastfeeding on the beach, but it was awkward and difficult to use and VERY uncomfortable. I wouldn't even recommend as a table. Probably the biggest disappointment I've ever purchased on Amazon. I would never recommend this product.

Since it is not beach weather yet, I can only give a neutral rating. I am suspicious about the spindly legs though. I tried sitting on it on carpet and it was a bit tippy and when I rested my head on it, it slipped and fell. But, in sand it may do better so we'll see.

I purchased the item for vacation. The beach is almost a 1/2 mile walk for a good setup spot from where we stayed and with a sunshade and all other items I was not looking forward to buying bulky chairs. My biggest issue is trying to get comfortable while reading a book. This fulfilled that use perfectly. The primary aspects would be that it is not a chair but more of a prop. Think jumbo pillow that can be folded down into something that fits into a small pocket. The beach is likely where it would be most useful however I could see some backpacking campers finding use. Fulfilled my expectations and it appears it will last many more trips.
