Be careful.
Works, but if you are in a situation where you need this be very careful. You really want to make sure you have the eps amperage for your use. Mine didn't and cause instability issues till I upgraded power supplies and the one I got had multiple rails for eps, such might be what your actually need. The power supplies with two eps do tend to be more expensive, but it is very worth it.

Nice Cable but what I wanted was and EPS to Dual PCIE, so I dis-assembled the cable for the 8-pin receptacle.

I wouldn't particularly recomend this for a board that TRUELY needs it like a dual cpu board
Worked. I wouldn't particularly recomend this for a board that TRUELY needs it like a dual cpu board, but for the m-power board where it's just to spread the load over multiple board traces for stability...sure.
