My ta (total alkalinity) is too high. how do i lower it? i'm getting red spots on my skin, which i assume is because of high ta.

Acid is opposite to alkaline… many factors to contribute on, what’s the ph level. That’s the chlorine/bromine level?

It’ll tell you on the bottle but it depends on the volume of water on the pool.
