Great magazine with great stuff inside but a little thin.
Love the magazine's articles for bicycle commuter and recreational riders. My only complaint is the magazine is a little thin and needs more articles. I have been buying this mag in the book store for years but just now subscribe because it was cheaper. The reason I was reluctant to subscribe earlier was still the thinnest of the articles. Don't get me wrong the articles, stories and photos are top notch. I just want more great articles, stories and photos in my issues of Bicycle Times Magazine.

Good content but definitely unpolished
I like the character of this magazine. It's got kind of an alternative vibe. Most of the reviews are for bikes that won't/don't go mach 1. Occasionally, though, I have seen some pretty glaring proof-reading errors. It's clearly not the "establishment" bike magazine (*cough* Bicycling), but it's fun to read and will offer some interesting tips and stories you won't find elsewhere.Update (2/15/2014): Unfortunately I've been reading an increasing number of articles that have blatant copy editing mistakes and generally awkward language. While I still enjoy most of the reviews and articles, there's just no excuse for this kind of writing in a magazine that is published every TWO months. There's plenty of time to get it right, BT.

Recent editor change. No longer the magazine we loved.
The editor changed right after I purchased the subscription. It was so sad. This was the one magazine that spoke to my type of riding! The original editor published articles on bicycle commuting, advocacy, city bikes, and just basic cycling for the common person. The new issues are more about fixie hipsterism. Last issue featured an article on identifying and collecting mushrooms -- I swear I am not making that up. Also, spelling and grammar problems have become common.I will not be renewing my subscription. Hopefully someone else will step in to fill the void, or the original editor will return.

Not really what I expected
Being a casual rider (about 10 miles a day, 6 days a week), this magazine seemed more geared toward longer, more professional riding. Very few articles were helpful to me.

address issues
Hard to change address. Haven't seen an issue yet so apparently still hasn't worked. I will try again and then go back to finding a copy at bike stored every so often.

Great Magazine for the non-Spandex type
Great Magazine, it has interesting stories and lots of how to articles.I like the product reviews the best because the reviewer talks about the product in their own real environment as opposed to cycling the latest unaffordable bike along the coast of Sardinia.Advertisements are also very aligned with the fans of the magazine.

Fun on a bike
If you love bikes and the bicycle life style, but are not really into racing either as a participant or observer, this magazine is a good one. Fun on a bicycle seems to be a common theme.

This has become my favorite bicycle magazine
This has become my favorite bicycle magazine. I love the focus on commuting and some touring and especially bike camping. Most other bike magazines focus on racing which I am not in to. Good job guys.
