A chilling summer time novel!!!!
I thought The Accident was a chillingly great ghost story about decades long revenge. The plot was great, I didn't think the characters were developed as well as say R.L. Stine's characters in his novels. However, overall, I thought this ghostly novel had just the right creepy and haunting plot to help me handle this summer heat!!!!

Good Read
I did read this when I was younger and remember it being well more hiding under the covers scary. But it was still delightful to read again and see what I remembered from years ago.

Surprisingly Creepy
This is a surprisingly creepy little YA horror novel. Near as I can figure, it was originally written in the 1990's and it retains that old school YA feel. No drugs. No sex. Just crushes, nice teens, and creepy paranormal goodies.I really liked our main character and really wanted to know how this would all end. Some of it was fairly predictable, but I've got a lot of horror and YA reading under my belt. I imagine at the time it was written, it probably wasn't quite so easy to predict. All in all a very good read that stands the test of time!

The Accident (Audiobook)
This was the best Diane Hoh book that I have ever tried to read, read, or listened to. I have NEVER cared for this author and am done trying to read her books ever again. This book however was an interesting and kinda creepy idea, it is very predictable but entertaining to listen to, if you like this authors books then you'll like this. The Accident **1/2 out of *****Violent Content: 1/10 - Some Minor Violence.Descriptions of Sexual Content: 1/10 - Sex is Suggested but Never Said.

I liked the story
Though it raised a few hairs on the back of my neck, I would not call it creepy. I liked the story, however. I felt Megan was too repetitive when expressing her thoughts, but the author did an excellent job in all other areas.

The Accident Review...
The book for the quarter was "The Accident" by Diane Hoh. The book falls into the category of mystery fictional. Diane Hoh does a good job of planning out the plot and making it so interesting that even a person that doesn't like to read stays interested in the book. The thought of how Megan, the main character, actually trades places with a girl from her mirror that was a ghost. Megan, in the book, is described as an ordinary girl, who has a boyfriend and isn't really part of one specific crowd. Diane gets the reader thinking if there really could be a haunting ghost in every mirror that is just waiting to trade places with a person that is alive. If Megan was a real person then she would be very brave and courageous. The plot for the book was very interesting but at times Diane Hoh should have made the two Megans physically fight or confront each other a lot more. More should have been told about the Megan that was dead and wanting to trade places with the Megan that was alive. If a great mystery book is wanting to be read with a little bit of romance and of course fiction then this book is definately recommened. Thanks!

Can accidents happen by themselves
Megan Logan was just sitting in her room when an image appeared in her mirror. At first it seemed unreal, but then everything fell into place. Megan made a new friend Juliet or maybe an enemy. Juliet was just a figment of Megan's imagination or so she thought, that is until she decided to agree to let Juliet into her world. Juliet asked Megan to trade places with Megan for just one week. Little did she know that, that was not all Juliet wanted.....

The Interesting Book
The author had a message in the story. The message was to keep an open mind because anything can happen.I give this book a B+ because the theme of the story did follow throughout the book. I think that it was an interesting book because there was a very good format in the mystory of the book. I think that the ending was really good.
