The towel is extremely absorbent and comfortable. It is easy to care for; I have been thoroughly rinsing it after hot yoga and only put it in the washing machine once a week and it seems to be staying fairly clean and fresh. It is non-skid in that my hands and feet won't slip however it still slips on top of my yoga mat (I tried getting it wet before class, it didn't help). The more I use it, the less it seems to slide so it may just be a matter of breaking it in. I love that it doesn't have two layers (like the Gaiam grippy towels, which tend to slide a bit on each other) and it doesn't have the little grippy dots (which I find to be very uncomfortable) so I'm willing to deal with a little mat slipping, especially for the price.

I bought this towel because about half-way through a power yoga session my mat starts to get too slippery to use and I don't think I am ready to invest in one of the ore expensive ones just yet. I love the color and the feel of this mat! It definitely helps keep me from slipping when I'm doing power yoga and my mat starts to get sweaty! By the end of an hour and a half session this mat is drenched but my hands and feet feel secure to it until I am done! Once I'm done it takes about 10-40 minutes to dry (depending upon how wet it gets).

This is a very nice towel for the price. The first time I used it during yoga it did not stain or leave wet stains from my sweat. I also wear makeup that tends to come off while doing hot yoga and even this also did not stain. I opted for the dark purple, so I can't really say if the lighter colors will hide sweat or makeup as well. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the color ran off a bit when I washed it for the first time. Next time I will just wash this towel alone for the next couple of washes so the colors won't run on any of my other clothes.

I've used it in hot vinyasa yoga (100-103 degrees) to my non-hot gentle flow yoga classes. In both settings, I sprayed/poured water at both ends of towel to engage the grip. The towel didn't budge! It was great! It feels very soft, looks great, and rolls up nicely for traveling in & out of the studio. I also like the little Good Karma logo. It's a peaceful and positive embellishment.I ordered 3 more in various other colors & started recommending to friends. If I have any changes I will update this review, but so far so good!

This quality of this towel is great and it feels really nice during hot yoga class! The first time I used it I had some trouble with it bunching up on my mat, but I haven't figured out if that's a problem with my mat or something about the towel. Other than that, this was a great purchase! I really LOVE the fact that even the light aqua color towel doesn't show sweat because, let's be real, most of us are absolutely dripping during hot yoga.

I really like this yoga towel! I don't do hot yoga, but often do warmed classes and my hands kept slipping on the mat. This towel was perfect for combating that problem. Its also very soft so it doesn't hurt your hands if you're applying constant pressure. However, it does move around a bit on the yoga mat when moving from one pose to the next. But its a minor inconvenience and an overall great towel for yoga!

Just got my yoga towel the other day and used it at my hot yoga practice! It's very absorbent, and gives it a grip to your actual may. The material is suede like, which is my favorite material for a yoga towel instead of that thick rug like material. They only thing I wish it was a little wider it barely covers the width of my yoga mat. Overall I'm very happy with the product and very true to image color.

Pros: good color selection, soft fabric, fits my mat perfectly, great priceCons: Towel sticks to my feet during class, which is bad when I'm flowing into down dog or warrior poses. Something about the towel's fabric doesn't work with my mat texture (standard slightly raised yoga mat orange peel texture) - it just doesn't stay put. Other towels with more nap do a better job staying put on my mat. Annoying, but still way better than not having a towel.Overall, this is a good towel if you aren't doing a lot of vinyasa or if you use a super flat, non textured mat.
