Science Purchase .22 .223 .25 Cal Bore Snake Cleaner Kit Cord Rope Brass

Very nice bore snake that doesn't cost as high as the other alternatives (e.g. Hoppes at $20!?!?). I have used it on my .22LR CZ455 and Savage Mark II. They fit the .22 long rifle with a tight fit, but I didn't have to break my back just to pulled the bore snake through. It required some effort, but it worked out just fine overall. I would have to say that the product works as intended and I will probably pick up 1 or 2 more: one for using as a barrel solution cleaner and the other kept as dry to clean out the oil.

Does exactly what I need it to, cleans the gun. I use this on my .223 rifle and it does a great job, I also cleaned up 30 years of dust from my dad’s .22 rifles with it too. Before I even got to use it, my cat stole it! Once I got it back, my rifle has been looking better.

Excellent product at a great price. Once I recovered it from the cat I used it and it works like no other cleaning device I've ever tried. The applied weight, a small caliber piece of brass, is perfectly weighted and it's soft metal isn't likely to damage your chrome, nitride, nickel or other rifle barrel surfaces. I will definitely order more.

Got this for my .223 bolt action, gets the job done but holy Moley it's a tight fit! When your brass scrubber part goes in the barrel as I pull on the long shoe lace piece it hurts my hand to the point I have to wrap it around the handle of something like a hammer to get the leverage to yank it all the way through. Assuming it won't mess up my rifling in the barrel but I guess it gets cleaned good cuz it's so darn tight! Don't think it would like going through a .22 barrel very much

Bore snakes take the hassle out of cleaning barrels. Just sprinkle some oil or solvent behind the integrated brush, drop the weight down the breach and pull through. They fold up tight so you can give your rifle a quick clean before you leave the range.

This product will deep clean any barrel with a medium to high build up. End is weighted and easy to install and use. Great value.

I use this on my AR 15s, and it works like a snake should, for a 1/3 of price of other snakes on the market, Time will tell if it holds up, but it does the job for now.

Very tight fit on my .22 rifle; had to put a little extra oil in barrel to pull it thru. Might be better for the .223 or .25 listed. It didn't break though.

Great piece of kit

I'm sure that this would be as easy at perfect barrel cleaning as all my other Bore-snakes are, but the sad fact is that it hasn't arrived - despite assurances from the seller - so we'll simply have to put this one down to experience and invest in a proper Hoppe's version...! On the positive front, providing they're made properly (i.e. Strongly...), with weight, paracord, brush and cleaning sections all firmly linked, then this is the best and quickest way to clean any barrel - though a shirt of Bore-foam first and s few drops of Hoppe's on the Pull-through" part does make the job even easier.
