Advantek The Courtyard Rabbit Run

I’ve put together quite a few rabbit/chicken pens and runs lately, and this has got to be the worst of the bunch. I’ll give them 2 stars because it was delivered promptly and it was well-packaged. But man... there were so many problems with it! To begin with the latch was broken. Then the wood began splitting with each screw. The door, which you don’t put together, it’s already assembled in its frame, wouldn’t close properly. None of the wood was straight, every piece was warped, so the resulting structure Doesn’t sit flat. If you push one corner down the opposite one ends up with a gap large enough for my quail to just walk out of. For over $100 I wouldn’t ever buy this product again, nor will I bother with anything with the advantek brand name.

The product did NOT come with the screws needed for assembly, as it was supposed to. Upon calling customer service, they said our only option was to either repackage it and send it back and get a new replacement that would hopefully include the screws, or I could pay SEVENTEEN DOLLARS for them to send the pack of screws that I ALREADY PAID FOR in order to put it together. There is also no information included regarding what type of screws should be used, and the customer service representative would not disclose that information, either. At this point, I am going to attempt to find compatible screws at our local hardware store and hope that they work well. I am EXTREMELY unhappy with the customer service, however, the product itself looks sturdy, and I hope I will be able to use it.

I bought this run for my rabbits to have a bit more freedom when I'm not home, and I really like it. And so do the rabbits, I think. I left one of the ends open and attached it to the hutch so that they can go in and out of the hutch and run around as much as they want. I like the fact that it opens from the top, as well. For the price, this is a great deal (unless you can make it yourself for much cheaper).

Bought for two drawf bunnies to be outside when we are hanging out (they are indoor bunnies otherwise). It's a bit flimsy wood but very light weight so easy to move around yard. Takes two people so as to not tweak it and risk damage. For the money, it works great. We create shaded areas with a light towel or blanket. Always add water and they enjoy hanging outside on a nice (not too hot) day.

Perfect size for ducklings. We use this for our little ducklings and chicks until they are ready to nest in a bigger coop. We keep it shaded with part sun during the day. The chicks and ducks are safe from predators at night and we have had no issues with any parts breaking or coming apart. We have a little shelter that we built from plywood at one end that they nest in at night. Perfect size for several months.

Good quality. Only negative thing is the top does not have a latch. Therefore, my rabbit was able to get out and now she is gone.Make sure you either put something heavy on top and make your own latches 😞

Could be a little taller, for taller pets or poultry,Not real sturdy,, but for rabbits, chicks etc it really does the job.Wish the middle had a door as well, pets can avoid being caught by running from one end to the other..Over all I love it Small wire holes so baby chicks can't go trough, over head protection,roomy,and one end door would allow you to connect to another pen or house.

I am using this product in the back yard to house my 35 year old Three-Toed Box Turtle. I like the fact that is has half inch mesh so that I don't have to worry about the larger snakes and predators getting at my pet. I thought it might have mesh on the bottom but it does not. I laid plastic sheeting about six inches down, covered it with soil, brought the plastic up the sides and lined the edges with bricks so that my turtle cannot dig out. I like the fact that both top ends flip up for feeding and maintenance, and both side ends swing out. I have the cage surrounded with a 6 x 9 foot fenced area, and during the day I can leave one end open for the turtle to come and go as she pleases. I did add hardware to all the openings so that animals cannot just flip up the lid and get in. (I'm looking at you, my beloved Jack Russell Terrier who is really sure she wants to kill the turtle and has no trouble with the unsecured lid.)Assembly was easy, the wood was a little soft but should be OK now that's all constructed. I purchased a kennel safe clear sealer which I will apply after the turtle comes in for the winter.My only complaints are that it is pretty hard for me to reach the center of the cage from either end. And I wish the wood was a little better quality.

This is great for the price and is nice and lightweight for moving it around the yard.
