First Mod for my 2018 Challenger
The ordering process was simple and the item arrived on time as promised. The instructions are somewhat vague as the pictures that are printed on the sheets are hard to see the details you need to make sure you are doing it right. I used the install video found Online. It was much easier to follow along and I was able to slow it down/stop the video as I did each step. The total time from start to finish was about 90 minutes. The exhaust has quite a noticeable and exhilarating tone to it after completed. This is with the stock exhaust. I almost don't think I want to do any changes to the exhaust for the moment as this upgrade makes it sound just right. There is definitely a noticeable change in HP. I don't have a dyno but I can certainly notice the difference. I am very satisfied with this K&N cold air intake and I recommend it highly to those starting to make modifications to their R/T.

Another Great Product From K&N
Another great K&N product. Been using K&Ns on my boat engines with great success and now added the cold air intake system on my '15 Charger Road & Track R/T. Better quality and lower price than the after market MOPAR kit, and no expensive filter replacements. Easy install with only very slight modification of some A/C tubing required for perfect fit. No apparent power increase but improved sound and IMO better for the HEMI with improved air flow.

5 stars
For what it is, I'm completely satisfied. 1st off, it's not a "cold air" intake. Its actually sucking in hotter air than the stock air intake. However, it's sucking in 50 % more air than the stock air intake which in turn feeds more air into the intake. It does give you more low end power and much better throttle response. Not sure of how much more horsepower you gain because I didn't do a before and after dyno test. I did get better gas mileage though. I have a 2014 Charger Plus with the Road and Track package and I routinely make a 600 mile round trip back to my home town. Normally I'd average 23.4 miles per gallon on those trips. I made the same exact trip today and I average 25.4 miles per gallon. It's a great purchase for what it is in my humble opinion

Nice
Fits good. 2019 5.7 Challenger R/T Hemi.I don’t notice much performance or noise difference but it’s your average k&n filter so I didn’t really expect much.Looks cool though.Price is too much.

Save yourself the trouble and some money and just walk away
I’m surprised K&N would put their name on this trash. Fitment is a nightmare and it doesn’t even come close to sealing up so it gets fresh air. It’s going to pull a lot of hot air from under the hood. The heat shield is a joke there is a rubber seal that goes around it but doesn’t even come close to filling the gaps. The instructions tell you to bend your AC line to clear the heat shield. Yeah right I’m going to do that so I can create a leak. I just bent the heat shield since it fits like crap anyhow. Instructions are horrible and it was missing hardware even though the bag was sealed. Their best bit of advice in the installation instructions was to keep your factory air box. Because you will probably end up putting it back on. You would definitely get a cooler charge from the factory air box. Might be a little less restrictive but I doubt it makes much difference. I would tell you how it performs but I’m bandaging my wounds and still trying to bend the bracket to make it work. Just an absolute nightmare.

2021 dodge charger Rt
The media could not be loaded. Works good differently a little more throttle response only problem was there was mo where to put the heat shield without the box hitting against some hoses to the radiator so I left that off and the bolt to brackets to stabilize it fell down the engine bay so I just left that off too but works fine without and is pretty stable too from just hanging from the throttle body but not worried about it

It’s fairly easy
When I got the box it was on I was stoked my check engine light came on so I unplugged the maf sensor let it sit for a bit drove around again shut it off sat bit longer and drove it and it was good to go . But that’s cuz I didn’t unplug the negative from battery . Altogether I was happy!!! The filter and setup instructions where was to do gonna need some tools .

Love it
Easy install. Works great on my 2015 Chrysler 300s 5.7L. I do not have any lag that I have experienced in other vehicles and not that overbearing drone. I did notice an increase in performance and a decrease in fuel because I can't keep my foot out of it. (when I drove "normal" I got between .9 and 1.1 mpg improvement). I know this because I track my fuel for the last 4 years.
