Ride Me Back Home is another incredible addition to Willie Nelson's legendary catalog that finds him working once again with producer Buddy Cannon. Ride Me Back Home sits beside 2017's God's Problem Child and 2018's Last Man Standing as a trilogy of superior songcraft exploring ideas of mortality with wisdom, empathy and a winking love of life. Nelson and Cannon co-wrote a handful of songs but also call on their favorite songsmiths…great writers with great stories to tell: Sonny Throckmorton, Guy Clark, Mac Davis, Buzz Rabin. The result is a magical collection of tunes with emphasis on the lyric. Backed by an amazing band of Nashville gunslingers, Ride Me Back Home finds Willie Nelson making some of the most inspired work of his career.

Love Love Willie!!
I am a forever fan of Willie!! I own all of his music. I heard this on it's release day on the radio. I immediately bought it! The songs are great. At 85 years of age Willie still sounds as good as ever. He is a living legend. I love It's Hard To be Humble. Keep it up Willie. Can't see what he does next. And when he plays "Trigger", you definitely recognize the sound of that guitar. Keep em coming!

Willie is a treasure
Saw him Saturday night in concert. Heard 3 of his new songs, came home ordered the new album, it was here Monday. I've been playing it non-stop since. Incredible at 86... I'm in awe, love him - this is country at it's finest.

Exquisite Willie Nelson
I am a Willie Nelson fan of many years.Loved this CD.Favorite song: Ride Me Back HomeI am a music lover married to a trumpet player for 3+ decades. Live around lots of different music. This CD is great for just sitting and listening, driving, paying bills (which I am doing during this listen), dinner music, and many other situations.I am a first-level music listener married to a trumpet player for 3+ decades. I love Willie Nelson’s music, and this CD, for the way his music speaks feelings and thoughts so perfectly. He often speaks my heart so perfectly, with no extra words or notes, that I find a tear rolling down my eye. I am often back cuddling in the big green chair with my father in the living room when I listen to Willie Nelson. If you want to experience Willie Nelson, the musician, for the first time; add another great CD to your music collection; or sit in your Jeep at 7,000 feet in the Sierras and take in the view with some great music, like me, buy this CD.Happy Listening!

86 & STILL GOING STRONG
Willie never ceases to amaze me. He is 86 years old and still turning out quality CDs. This one is one of his best and can stand up against recordings he made 30 years ago. IT'S HARD TO BE HUMBLE is a riot and just as good as Mac Davis' original recording. I wish my friend, Nick Hunter, were still alive to hear this gem. Five stars for Willie!!!!!!!!!!!

A Potporie
Seven Year Itch and Immigrant Eyes are stand out cuts. The rest a mixed bag that seem to have little in common with one another. This album stands in the shadow of recent releases.

Willie is still Willie
Willie is still Willie. His voice may be a little weaker, his face more wrinkled and his hair more grey. But Willie is still Willie. He still plays that same guitar with that unmistakable style, still sings behind the beat and still sounds like the cherished old friend we've known all our lives. Like a favorite uncle, telling us a story with a twinkle in his eye. His latest CD is a welcome missive from a genius troubadour, a message of music from a living face on country's Mount Rushmore. He is happy and sad, as serious as gravity and as merry as the morning. He's still here, still as brilliant as ever, and he still matters. Willie is still Willie. Here's hoping he always will be.

Joyous. In every way.
This album is a cracker. I could listen to it on repeat for weeks and still find it enjoyable. For me, 'Time' is the best track here, great fun and witty too, everything a Willie Nelson track should be. This album was bought at the same time as Western Stars by Bruce Springsteen. I was looking forward to Western Stars so much yet it disappointed me in almost every way. Perhaps I should have listened to Western Stars before Ride Me Back Home? After the joy of Ride Me Back Home, Western Stars sounds as though all the music and enjoyment has been sucked out of it, I dislike Western Stars by almost as much as I love Ride Me Back Home. Sorry Bruce, but big thanks to Willie. This is an album I'll never tire of.

Hervorragend!

A gentle offering
A total Willie obsessive, so therefore will always order anything new. It’s a nice, calming album. It’s not his greatest, not quite up there with God’s Problem Child but it’s still lovely to hear his voice. Keep going Willie!

Another great album by the voice that defines County Music
Willie's voice has reached full maturity and sounds better than ever. The compositions and the playing, the production and art work, it's all authentic and soulful. If you're looking for music to comfort you in these trouble times, Willie's the guy to turn to.
