Bones Big Balls Reds Skateboard Bearings 8 Pack

I wanted something affordable yet would offer performance. I settled on these and if these are not considered high end and high-performance then I don’t know what is. For 20 years I’ve been using the cheapest bearings I could put in my wheels because I figured I would be replacing them once a year due to excessive wear and tear. If I only knew how sweet of a ride just a few dollars extra would get me I would have been buying these years ago. Coming from a 42 year old border that’s been skating for 35 years, don’t cheap out and get lower end ones just because they’re a couple bucks cheaper. These things were so smooth and fast. The first time I dropped in the pool I flew right out instead of being able to carve it like I normally do.

I bought these to replace a set of reds I've been running for about a year that have worn out and gotten loud. I mainly skate swimming pools so speed is helpful. When I first put these on the board and rolled down my driveway I thought they were slower than the old reds, kind of felt that way. But after a couple sessions I've already noticed that I'm going a bit faster in certain parts of my runs without extra pumping or anything. Its just retaining speed better and seems to get to a higher speed rolling down banks than the old bearings. They sound very quiet although they had a subtle clicking noise when I first put them on and spun them, on every bearing. Not sure if its my trucks or what but it was definitely noticeable. Its still there when I free spin them but I dont notice it when skating. Whether they last longer than the reds only time will tell. So far I'm happy with them, a definite upgrade over my worn reds. Can't remember if fresh normal reds were as fast when new though, I feel like these big ball red are faster.

These are a remake of the bones Swiss 6 bearings, but for a budget. Of course these aren't as good as the original but are high quality. They spin meh out of the box but broken in well. Cannot beat the value for what you get

put in my old school deck and they roll forever. I also have shark wheels but it is so smooth and no noise from the bearings. Holding up to skating so far

I have been skating boarding for almost 30 years and I run Bones Big Balls on all my push boards now because these have fewer defects than other bearings. Very good bearings for the money, not Swiss but for those you pay more obviously. These bearings are very fast and are better quality than Bronson G3 bearings period. When you install these in your wheels use two drops of speed cream and ride your board for about 14 miles to set the bearings, the speed will increase and the bearings will last for years. I set bearings with a dust seal on the inside of the bearing as well as the outside dust seal to keep the lube in the race, then remove the inside seal, clean and re-lube the bearing whenever you want. I would not recommend these skate rated bearings for Eboards. I have three Eboards and the weight and speed of my MetroBoard Eboard can create too much heat for a skate rated bearing, speed rated bearings should be used in Eboard wheels.

Great bearings, very quiet and light weight. I put 4 out 5 star because one was probably defective and git stuck into my wheel. But probably nothing that occurs frequently I suppose

J'ai d'abord utilisé ces roulements pour le longboard, j'ai été surpris par leur vitesse ; ma vitesse générale avait augmentée. Très légers et peu bruyants au début. Après 5mois, j'ai décidé de les essayer en skate street, et, ces roulements sont encore sur ma planche aujourd'hui? malgré les chocs qu'ils ont pris. Généralement mes roulements perdent des billes/ se cassent, seulement ceux-ci sont très résistants, peut être même trop. Le bruit après un an reste acceptable. Meilleur rapport qualité/prix de chez Bones, mieux que des Redz, je conseille d'investir 10euros en plus car ils dureront sans doute deux fois plus longtemps que des Redz. Les 6 billes des Big Balls sont un très bon avantage.
