Feline Natural Dental Care Cat Treats Savory Salmon Flavor, 2.5 oz. Pouch

I use Greenies with my dogs daily. I'm not sure how well they help with dental care--Not a substitute for brushing the dogs' teeth, apparently (per the last vet visit even though they also eat Oral Care food for one meal a day). However, the dogs love it as a treat.

Having paid for feline and canine dental cleanings at the vet, and having seen one of my cats lose a tooth, I was pleased to find these. Our dogs love the Greenies "bones". I wanted something for our two cats. Caution, they are addictive! My Aby makes it very clear that he wants these things whenever I am near the island in the kitchen where I keep them. He won't settle down until he gets a few. Fortunately, they are very low calorie. He doesn't gulp them down like cat food. The Greenies for the dogs appear to be cleaning their teeth. I am optimistic about my cats, but it is more difficult to tell. I've placed a subscription order for these.

These are essentially the best dry cat treats. Nutritionally complete, top-tier flavor, and they scrape off tartar. Of six dry treat brands I've tested, these are tied for first in terms of flavor. These are hard dry treats (not soft or semi-soft), but one of my cats has no problems eating these without chewing, even though he has a semi-sensitive stomach. At under 2 calories per piece, these won't cause weight problems, and might even help your cat lose weight. As far as dental health benefits go, the results are unclear so far. The pieces are large enough that one of my cats will chew about 2/3 of the time. I give him 5 pieces per day, but it still looks like he will need a yearly dental cleaning. The other cat doesn't have enough teeth left to chew, but he still likes these.

I love these because they help with my cats' teeth, and she loves the flavor! Win-win.

When my vet recommended I give my cat dental treats to help keep her teeth clean I did some looking here on Amazon and came across these treats. When I first opened this package I was a little worried that these treats might be too small and she would swallow them whole, but as soon as I gave these treats to her I heard the reassuring crunching sound as she would break them up with her teeth and hopefully do the job like they are supposed to do. My cat can sometimes be a finicky eater, but she chowed down on these treats with no hesitation. I even mixed these treats with some others I was trying out and she would actually pick out and eat these treats first and leave the other treats to eat later! So if you have a finicky eater as a cat I would definitely recommend giving these treats a try since they worked so well for me!!

My cat loooooves these treats. Cat owners know that our furballs can tend to be picky, so I bought these last year (the salmon flavor) without much expectation. OH MAN. LITTLE DID I KNOW HOW MUCH MY CAT WOULD LOVE THESE. She will purr and sweetly meow, asking for them every evening when I get home. It's become a lovely part of our relationship (especially since she tends to prefer my husband over me haha). I'm not really sure how much they help her teeth to be honest, but hey, every little bit helps. (I also can sometimes use a q-tip to gently put enzymatic toothpaste in her mouth... She does not like it!!) Our cat was a rescue, we got her as an adult and honestly, food was how we started bonding, before she let us cuddle and pet her. Bottom line: happy cat, happy owners!! We have these treats on subscribe and save, a little bag comes every month and I don't know how but she KNOWS. Haha. Five stars. Edit: Forgot to say we tried a few different flavors, which she was "eh" about, until we landed on the salmon flavor and she GOBBLED THEM UP LIKE NECTAR OF THE GODS.

My 14 year old Maine Coon has Gingivitis and has had to have teeth cleaned often but last few times he became ill afterward even with antibiotic prevention.... used this for 10 days between yearly check up and scheduled teeth cleaning while he was on preventative antibiotics - when we went back in the vet said his teeth were better enough to skip the cleaning!! WOW!! So I stocked up with a case - as my luck goes when I find something that works they change it or discontinue it. He loves them too! well worth the price.

I've been buying Greenies treats for my cats and my brother's cat for years. All of the cats seem to enjoy them, and I like the idea that I am buying something a little better for them. The price is right, and they are not fowl or fishy scented like some cat treats. I have not done any research to verify whether or not Greenies actually help cats teeth. But for now I like them and more importantly the cats like them. 😻

Greenies cat treats help with dental cleanliness for your cat. My Charlie Boy loves all flavours and has been enjoying these since a visit to the vet a few years resulted in teeth extractions due to plaque buildup. Not the case since he’s been eating Greenies. He gets 12 in the morning and 12 at night following breakfast and dinner, works for him and his favourite flavour is Catnip.
