This product won't work for me. Note that it has to sit completely flat against whatever it is plugged into. I want to use this in my car, but in order to do that, it has to stick out a little bit from the USB port.I have a USB port in my car which I can use to plug in a flash drive containing music. That music will then be available to play through my car's stereo system. Currently I plug the flash drive straight into the US port, causing it to stick out about an inch and a half. I am always concerned about my knee bumping into it. However, if it could stick out at a right angle rather than sticking straight out, there would never be any danger of anything bumping into it.My dashboard is curved a bit at the point of the USB port, and to the right of it. Therefore, this device won't work, because it will sit flat against the dashboard; because of the curve of the dashboard, there is no way I can plug it all the way in. However, if the USB plug was out about 1/4" from the adapter, then it would accommodate the curve in the dashboard; I would be able to plug it all the way in, and my flashdrive would go harmlessly to the right, rather than sticking straight out.

I have a few chunky cables in my car that get in the way of changing gear when in use, so these are a godsend to change the direction where it's out of the way.Also great for laptop (or tablet with full size usb port) to keep usb drives close to the device to help avoid accidental damage.I can go on as I can think of dozens of places I can use them (being an IT tech), so will be getting a few more sets for the toolbox

Just what I needed. Fixes the angle for the USB slot on my smart TV! Brilliant invention. Works perfectly.
