Nest Secure Home Security Alarm System Starter Pack w/ 2 Detect Sensors & 2 Tags

We already had a Nest thermostat and wanted to be able to use the same app for controlling the security as well. I'll start off by saying that the window and door sensors are more expensive than other brands. But that is because they also double as motion sensors - something not found in other brands. I particularly like that because it creates a much more complex sensor area around our home. Virtually all the rooms that have an exterior door or window(s) have motion detection as a result. You can also get the 24/7 security monitoring, which homeowners insurance agencies offer policy discounts for.For the money, I have been very pleased with this system and plan to expand to other Nest products as well.

I just received it and it is the real deal. In original factory sealed packaging. Everything is there and has never been touched. Great Deal!

When it works it’s really great, but I’ve been having the same problem for months. All my detects (more than 15) go offline at the same time, sometimes for several hours a few times each month (this week twice) while guarding.I’ved called nest support many times with no real solution.This is a very expensive security system that fails at the very thing it was designed to do: make you feel secure.After spending more than 3k on Nest, I have no other choice but to treat it as a gimmick and replace it with a security system like ADT so I can rest assured that the system won’t go offline randomly while guarding my family.Sad but true: there’s no real solution from Nest’a side, I really wanted this to work.

I went all out on my Google Nest system only to find out at the end that T-Mobile is the ONLY only option for cellular backup. By the way, T-Mobile has the WORST coverage of all the providers in our area. As a result the cellular backup goes offline a lot. This is NOT what one expects from a premier security system! They should have alternative cellular providers in this situation. Really disappointing!

Product does not work. Now, after more than one year got offline and no matter what I do I can’t put it back online...
