Carpenter Space Pen by Fisher

This Fisher Space Pen is styled to look like a space craft, but made of lightweight material so that a magnetic strip easily serves to hold it to a steel surface. It is a combination ink pen, ruler, level, and also has a few angle markings. As most Fisher Space Pens are short and small this cute pen is long and surprisingly easy to wield despite its odd shape. It currently resides on the side of my desktop computer where it should remain easy to find when needed.While it is by no means desirable as your primary writing instrument, it is a multi-use tool with a good pen refill installed making it good to have where you craft and might also need an ink pen. I am glad that I added it to my collection of craft tools.

I was disappointed in how the pen is packaged by the manufacturer. It was not cheap but arrived in a cardboard backing with plastic top and shipped in plastic bag. This should be sold in a box like many of their other pens. I liked the concept of the pen but thought it was very cheap looking.

This pen does just what they say. I bought it did my fiance who is a master carpenter. The casing is a good tool, but a little bulky. Never tested it underwater but does wrote upside down, & on soiled surfaces. I'm a chef and deal with grease and things that get wet from condensation and markers don't alwAys write. I am going to get one for myself, just not with the contractor tool casing.

This product is exactly as described. It feels well-made and has all the features advertised in the product description. I bought it as a Christmas present for someone so have not been using it myself but as far as I know it's been holding up well.

I got this for a coworker who was moving offices. It's a little bulky, but a handy little tool for those in drafting, light carpentry or engineering such as my friend. Not the most practical gift, but a nice little all in one.

I gave this to my dad as a gift. He's working on putting an addition on the house. He's usually your typical contractor pencil kind of guy so this was a little fancy for him. We haven't tested all of its supposed abilities, but I can say that it is awkward to write with as it is so wonky-shaped. Though the tools are useful, they make for a difficult to hold writing utensil.

This was an excellent holiday present for the contractor in my life. You know you need to keep those people happy so they come back in due time/do not leave your project unfinished!!! This does the trick.
