Rock Climbing Mug (Red)

I bought a set of these for my son. If he doesn't opt to use them as coffee cups, they will be a nice looking display item. Even if he uses them to hold pens, they demonstrate his passion for rock climbing.

The media could not be loaded.  Love the texture and how you can handle the mug is pretty comfortable for a climber. I don't think is microwave safe though due to the metal bolt. Pretty big mug as well.

Nicely made, the grip is such a cool feature. My friend loves it.

Very well crafted, I bought as gift for my husband. There’s no handle on it but the climbing grip makes it easy to hold.

Super cool! I wasn’t sure if the mug + hold can withstand getting baked to set the paint, but it held up.What I did for painting/customizing:1. Used acrylic paint2. Let dry in the blazing sun for a day, then inside for I can’t remember how long…3. Stuck the mug in a cold oven, set temp to 240F4. Once temp has been at 240 for ~20 minutes, I turned it up to 300F5. Baked at 300 for about 2 hours, turn oven off, and let mug cool in the ovenWhat I would do differently: wash the mug really well before painting. There were parts of the mug that the paint didn’t adhere well (likely because of residue), and I just went over it twice.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this mug for my boyfriend for Christmas and he picked it up and the rock handle started to slid off. To our surprise, the handle is only glued onto the cup not bolted down or made into the cup. This really dampered our Christmas morning. We are every disappointed in the quality.

I got this for a climber friend and it arrived earlier than expected and in protective packaging. It's exactly as advertised and the slighlty curved sides make it look more special and high-end than other similar mugs. I got it in the blue colour and it's a great shade, very pleasant. Would recommend!

Cup is good, but the handle is bit small meaning can burn fingers on mug if not careful
