This "All About Drawing" is a great series for advanced beginner artists. For the very beginners, I would recommend the "Learn To Draw" series which is geared towards childrens' first attempt at structured drawing. This series is the logical next step. It is also a good series for beginning adult artists. It is a small book that is highly focused on a limited number of animals. The steps are clearly explained and should enable relatively beginning artists to draw more realistic animals. Good information and a great book!

This book was for my grandson for Christmas, but the family was isolating - children not coping with being housebound. The present was opened, and kept the 5 and 7 year old occupied for quite a long time. My son sent me pictures of the frog (front cover), and excellent, colourful depictions of a tucan.
