Skyjacker 7900 Steering Stabilizer

Fits perfectly and the price was great! I like that old school look. It was very easy to install. I have a lifted 1988 Toyota and the steering/stability improved big time.

Product delivered very fast, and as ordered. Unfortunately I failed to see that this item requires a mounting kit and is not a direct fit replacement according to the Skyjacker web site. Although I am sure it is a simple item and the kit may even come with the package, I will stick with a direct replacement unit. The seller however did a great job getting me the product and was actually a day early on delivery

I am marking this lower than the product probably deserves. I am very sure this is a solid item, however, it mismarked as being compatible with the 04 Wrangler TJ X. Since it was marked as being compatible, I took my time in getting it installed, I waited to get the tires and made an appointment at a local national chain, which I asked for an alignment too. I brought everything needed, including the Skyjacker 7900 Steering Stabilizer. Received a call later that this does not fit.Now, this is beyond the return window and both Amazon and other parties declined to accept this back, so now I am stuck with a product that I cannot use!I just looked, prior to returning this item and it still says that it is compatible with the '04 Jeep Wrangler TJ X and it is not. Nobody is correcting the compatibility matrix!Beware, DO NOT buy this as it will NOT fit your Wrangler TJ X and you CANNOT return it!!I hope it helps, I would triple check your purchase with other items on the web to ensure what you are buying actually fits your car.What tee's me off, if I would've tried to do this, my car would've been disassembled, regardless to what degree, to notice that it is not a direct fit.BUYER BE WARE(side note, I do have this brand pending to be installed on the shocks for my Wrangler TJ X)

Used it on a 1989 Toyota pickup with a solid axle swap. Worked great!

Tough and holding up great and I've already pounded my Jeep hard.

I imagine that this is a pretty decent steering stablizer but it's not what I expected or needed. The Amazon site indicated that it fit my Samurai, however it's a universal fit and not an OEM fit. To make this work you'll need a bracket kit (~$22.00) and then it'll fit onto the axle and the steering arm where it'll be low and exposed to damage. If you want something that'll fit the existing brackets and and be out of harms way, order the Monroe or the ARB OMESD30 (if you're running any kind of suspension mods).Too late for me to return to Amazon. Poor description by Amazon ending up costing me $$. Be cautious when using the Amazon fitment guide since it'll list universal fit items as being a match. I'll make someone a good deal on this one.
