Chikara 4 MMA Fight Short

I'm 6'4 and weigh 230lbs, the fit is perfect. They go down to the knee, the rubber inner grip keeps them from moving and the side slits give you room to move without having to readjust your shorts every time you crouch. They also look sick, though I wish there was a single pocket for my phone when I'm not working out.Down side is I'm pretty sure I can hear the disembodied souls of my viking ancestors when I wear them cursing me for abandoning axe and shield for a katana. "You'll never enter the halls of Valhalla dressed like this..."

Ordered a medium. I have two different board shorts for no gi Jiu jitsu it mma and I must say these ones are the best. The fitment is on point unlike the other two brands I bought and it even has this rubbery thing that’s around the waist so it doesn’t have too much play which I feel is important especially when your grappling on the ground. That’s imo pretty innovative for insuring fitment and comfort. Definitely would buy this again in a different color. Worth every penny

I purchased these shorts for no-gi jiu-jitsu. I’m 6’0 tall and weigh, on average, 190 pounds.These shorts fit perfectly. The waistband offers some flexibility with size as you have a drawstring for tightness covered by velcro so it doesn’t get in the way during hard rolling. The shorts were very comfortable and allowed full range of motion - better than what I expected. During training, they stayed in place and didn’t need to be readjusted.To top it off, they look great. I would definitely recommend and will probably buy another pair myself.

These shorts have really impressed me they are extremely well made.The material of the shorts is thick and kinda waxy feeling ,and you definitely feel the stitch.That my be a problem for some but I like how durable and well made it felt.I normally wear between a size 35-38,so I got a XL they fit well.I wear compression leggings ,and the elastic waistband kept the shorts securely around my waist during jumprope,running,burpees,and bag work.Overall these are premuim shorts ,but I will update when I see how they hold up to a couple washes.

Most comfortable shorts I've ever worn. I just started mma after years of muay thai and these things are incredibly comfy. The rubber inside the waistband insures they don't slip anywhere. I can throw head kicks without any resistance which was very surprising ( muay thai shorts are much shorter to accommodate high kicks). Overall, very satisfied even for $60.

Works perfectly. And comfortable. Especially while warming up and sparring freedom the needed for movement. If something could change about this product, I’d suggest just the center of it. Above the middle there’s material that seems to be out of place. Material that usually goes in the crotch is found just above. Not the typical Hyabusa short I usually purchase. But still- stylish and comfortable.

Love these shorts! I use them for no gi BJJ, working out, and for around the house. The rubber inside the waistband holds in the rash guard top really well when the draw string is tied tight. I liked these so much I got the punisher color too. Legit.I am 6’ 190 lbs, wear a size 34” waist on my jeans and the large of these fit great.

Hayabusa has greatly improve the closing system in their fight trunks. This feel now easier to close and more adjustable.The trunks itself are easy on the eye and are quite comfortable for kicking.No surprises here really. If you know Hayabusa, you know it's going to be a good product.

I used this about 5 times for bjj and noticed that the velcro in the "zipper" area was beginning to come away. I've washed them regularly as per the washing instruction so I can only put this down to poor manufacturing or at least a batch issue. In terms of fit, comfort and flexibility, they are great shorts although maybe a little long and baggy for bjj. The rubber inner waist band means these things never pull down and grip to spats or skin amazingly, just a shame about the velcro and stitching.

Quality as always from hayabusa

Unfortunately the quality of the Hayabusa Fight Shorts I received was extremely disappointing.After owning them for approximately one week, using them four times and washing them only once - the shorts show obvious wear at the closure (front velcro fly) and the stitching on the leg seam has begun to fray & unravel significantly.I purchased these Hayabusa shorts specifically because they had good reviews.The Hayabusa Chikara fight shorts I received were of subpar quality.

I bought a blue pair last week, liked them so much I ordered this red pair in the same size. They came obviously used shorts undone and untied, then I noticed they don’t fit they’re way smaller than my other pair, when I smelled them I now know why, they were used and machine washed and shrunk. Please monitor your returns more closely so I don’t get burned.
