All Purified Ox Bile contains minimum  40% cholic acids. Its part of the chemical composition of Ox Bile and when your liver makes bile acids. Some put it on their labels some do not. If you wanted to up the cholic acid content while supplementing with Ox bile you can take this FREE FORM Amino Acid Taurine in 250mg. But with a VERY GOOD quality Ox Bile it is not necessary. If a company analizes the cholic acid content of their Ox bile that cost is past onto to you for assaying the content. I have tried several brands and seems that the lower quality you need to add the taurine. For me if the cholic acid is there my digestion is great and BM 1 to 2 x day. If that is not happening add the 250mg Free Form Taurine amino acid to the ox bile supplement. If digestion is great no bloating and your having a BM every day. That will tell you the quality of your Ox bile and the cholic acid content. If you have a fatty liver just plan on adding 500 mg of Taurine to what ever your ox Bile your taking. Will help out your liver out to recover quickly from toxins and fat.

They are the same thing and they don't contain salt. They are really helping me with my digestion because I don't have a gallbladder

Does this product contain pig ingredients, including in gelatin?

This question should go to the company that makes this product,  but reading the label it does not state and pig ingredients. It does work wonderfully if you don't have your Gall Badder or need help digesting fat.
