A very good drill, and a very versatile screwdriver - better than any dedicated driver I've seen!
The body is much shorter than other drills, presumably because the brushless motor is smaller, which makes it better balanced round the handle, so easier to use. The drilling functions - hammer and standard - are well controlled by the variable speed trigger, and have plenty of power. I was a bit nervous about the keyless chuck - which on my previous Bosch drill kept loosening - but the problem seems to have been sorted here, perhaps with the rotation stopping a touch less abruptly. The screwdriving functions work very well, and I find I can be bothered to get it out for even a couple of screws. Other drivers I've had were not so tempting. The magnetic bit-surround does the job well by holding the screw until it bites, and retracting when the screw head meets the surface. The two special chucks (offset and right-angled) make furniture assembly a doddle, and can be fitted in a second or two. Another nice tough is that the electronic reverse (for removing screws) reverts to forward rotation after 30 seconds, so if you don't keep using it, you'll not try to drill a hole in reverse. And the fact that the battery pack is common to my other drill (for which I have two) means I haven't run out of power. I bought this because of the special chucks, and because the chuck on my PBS-18 kept loosening, but it's so good that I've abandoned the old one completely.I unreservedly recommend this.

Power and Long Battery Life from quite a small Drill
The power of the drill far exceeds my larger Black and Decker battery powered drill. The size of the drill is somewhat misleading as it certainly has the required power. Since my recent purchase this drill has been in constant used as a screwdriver and for wood, brick and concrete, including hammer drilling and the three include attachments have proved invaluable and have made some of my other power tools redundant. The power is nicely controlled and changing rotation is quick and very easy as is changing the included different attachments All in all I have been highly delighted with this purchase and would certainly recommend it for inclusion in anyone's tool kit.

Brilliant drill combo
I already had a Bosch 18v impact drill/screwdriver which I find seriously underpowered compared to a rival 18v one. However, glad to see they've made some improvements here and in the short time I've had it it's successfully screwed in (with separate attachment) a long timber bolt into a landscaping sleeper. You can feel it step up a gear as it's doing it.This is unique from other drills and my other Bosch in that the forward/backward/off slider has been replaced with a digital switch with LED indicator on top to show you the head direction. Probably the future and easy to get used to although there is no formal off, just not "on" if button not pressed. This also comes with three head attachments in total: a standard drillbit holder, an offset head and another one. These just detach with a simple click mechanism but do seem to have to be positioned in a certain way to get them to click. The non standard attachments allow for sideways drilling and screwing and combine to allow you to do this. The offset head is for those annoying moments when then drill body is too big to fit in the area you are working in.I don't have an immediate use for these attachments but have had in the past. After market non OEM fittings that I've viewed recently have had mixed reviews but these are built for this device. These could also replace those useless flexi-screw attachments. Also comes with battery and charger. All in all a good drill. Worst part was drill/screw bit release. Had to out in hammer mode with near max setting to release bit.

Very pleased with this well made drill
Since it arrived a few weeks ago, I've been putting it to use on various little house projects, and I have to say, I'm really impressed. It's a very capable drill. For example, it’s coped easily with 6mm holes in dense bricks that my older impact drill (a DIY store own-brand one) was unable to cope with. The drill and components all feel very solid, robust and well made. The ergonomics are very good, making the drill very comfortable to hold and easy to use.

Very compact size for the power, great features, if it lasts as long as my previous Bosch drill I will b every pleased.
