Great formula
My baby was a micro premie with a lot of upper GI issues and this is the only formula that he would drink and not get sick.

Amazing Formula!!!
This formula honestly IS the best formula we’ve ever used. This is our third daughter, but the first time we’ve used Enfamil’s Enspire. We’ve always used used Enfamil because it is the #1 Pediatrician Recommended Formula. For our first daughter, we didn’t start supplementing with formula until she was 6 months old, and we used just the regular Enfamil. But she had a hard time digesting it, and had lots of colic. With my second, we upgraded to the Enfamil NeuroPro because it has MFGM and DHA, and at the time, it was the closest formula to breastmilk. She was only 3 weeks old when I began supplementing with her and I was worried it would be too strong for her, but it worked wonders for our second. But it did change her poop from the yellow, custard-like poop to thick green poop (so sorry for the graphics!) like most formula does. Now that we just had our third daughter, this Enfamil Enspire is available, and we were too excited to try it! Our daughter seems to get colicky at night time for some reason. And it makes trying to get any sleep at night impossible. So we decided to supplement with some Gentlease. That’s when we discovered that Enfamil had a new formula that was even closer to breastmilk than the NeuroPro! We got this Enfamil Enspire Gentlease about 2 weeks ago when my daughter was about 2 weeks old, and we love it! The fact that it has Lactoferrin in it must REALLY make it similar to breastmilk, because my daughter’s dirty diapers now look almost the exact same as when she drinks my breastmilk! It is just slightly thicker. But it’s still yellow, and still very similar consistency (sorry again for the graphics!). And now, she sleeps SO much longer at night, and never gets colic when she drinks this! She usually poops soon after drinking a bottle of this. And if my breastmilk happens to make her colicky during the day, I just give her a small amount of this formula, and she feels all better in no time! This Gentlease formula really does work! And we love how good it is for her! I’m so glad we were able to get 4 packs of this, because it should last us several months if we don’t switch over to formula-fed exclusively. I also loved the fact that we were able to use our EBT card here on Amazon to purchase it!!

A Good Option If You Can’t Breastfeed.
I’m a mom of two, so I’ve done my share of trying out multiple different formulas over the years (my milk supply was never great so I couldn’t breastfeed more than a month or two). With my first, we were able to use the store brands of gentle formula and my daughter always seemed to do fine. Enfamil Enspire wasn’t available 6 years ago. So we always used Enfamil Gentle Ease or the store store brand option. My daughter switched between the two, depending on what was in stock and our budget, without issues. Onto our second child, he is far more picky and sensitive to formulas. When we had to supplement with formula while I breastfed, I had gotten a sample of the Enspire so we used that. I liked the idea that it’s the closest thing to breastmilk and would be easy on his stomach. He did wonderfully with it. After my supply diminished, we had to make the complete switch to formula. But because of the price tag, I wasn’t always willing to buy it so we tried other formulas. A lot of formulas seem to cause constipation with him, so we always ended up going back to the Enspire. And he seems to not want to finish bottles that are other formulas. I’ve noticed that this line of formula has a sweeter taste and his BMs don’t smell as foul while taking this formula (as a parent, we all know how gross BMs can be so having a less potent smell is kind of a win). We’ve been strictly Enspire since he was 5m old and it’s always a formula that’s easy to mix and does well with his stomach. Now that he’s eating solids, I’ve noticed that he’s having a harder time passing BMs, so I thought maybe I could try this one to see if it helps a little bit as we transition to whole milk (he’s a year old, but isn’t eating a ton of solids so we will be slowly weaning as his appetite increases). So far he has taken this formula just as well as the regular option and he is having an easier time with his BMs. So I definitely say if you have a baby with a semi sensitive tummy, but is not lactose intolerant or anything, this formula would be a great option. My only set backs are the price tag. $45 for a tub and $56 for a box of two bags that are smaller than the bag in the tub seems so steep. I understand that it’s a good formula. But I feel like it’s not fair that parents have to pay more to have “better quality”. It’s just slightly discouraging. I also do not like the idea of emptying a bag into the container. I think it has to do with keeping the formula fresher for longer and you can keep the formula in the bag and reseal it. It’s messy and I feel like I waste formula that way. Sure, it’s not much being wasted, but for the price you’re paying? It seems like too much effort. I wish they’d go back to how it used to be with the foil seal, you just peeled off and everything was in the container already.
