15 years ago myself and my partner went on holiday to Ibiza with our then young children, as we were shopping, I noticed a man crouching down had his hand to my wife's bag, in his grasp was her purse, I was extremely lucky to witness this and quickly striked his hand he dropped the purse and ran away while I was shouting to the store staff.. He got away ready to prey on some other unsuspecting victim.. That day it could of been very much worse, but the anxiety it caused afterwards had me on edge for the rest of the holiday, if he had gotten hold of that purse our holiday woudl of been ruined, we stupidly had all of our money on us as well as our cards and travellers cheques.. Ever since we have been very cautious in not only taking out money but the amount and where we keep it, so enter the Samsonite Money Belt, this product is of very high quality, the stitching is very good and comes with two zip pockets the belt is detachable and also can be extended or retracted in length, its is very well hidden under clothing, and very comfortable, the back is of a different material that is very soft. it held my money and cards and my mobile phone, we had visited Disneyland last, so was great for holding onto the Disney passes as we have disabled children, it also held the disabled passes etc, it held lots in fact! I had in at one point €500 5 x Passports Credit Card Disneyland Annual Passes x 5 3 x Disabled Passes Park Map Sony Z3 Pack of Ibuprofen and there was plenty of room for more. I would urge people that if you are gogin to take precautions with you money it does well to invest in a quality product, this will last for many years, you cannot put a price of security.

I bought a slightly more expensive money belt as I had read poor reviews on cheaper alternatives on Amazon. I was rewarded with a belt that did not break and lasted a full month of traveling across India and Nepal. The Samsonite Money Belt has two spacious pockets that housed both mine and my partners Credit Cards, Passports, Currency and Phones whilst travelling on Busses and Trains and generally walking around cities. Sturdy design and good build quality, the zips are quite hard wearing also. I have a 36 inch waist and the cord was plenty big enough will scope for further waist expansion! The belt was well hidden when wearing chinoes, jeans and shorts, it wasn't visible at all. Only downside is the spongy, felt reverse of the belt pouch becomes quite damp if you become sweaty wondering around causing a bit of discomfort. Also the elastic belt can dig in a bit if worn for a few hours. Overall I would recommend for traveling as the quality is high and the belt quite robust.

Money belts are an essential tool for travelling, allowing you to keep your items safe and secure whilst abroad. I would highly recommend that anybody traveling with large sums of money, valuable documents or bank cards, wears one tucked under their trousers when on any form of public transport. Combining this with a "fake wallet" filled with a small amount of money (which should be enough for food/drink/travel tickets) and a few expired/empty cards, is a very powerful method of limiting your loses from pickpockets and muggers. This Samsonite Double Pocket Money Belt is simply brilliant. The material is strong and although the seller does not claim it to be water proof, it feels as though it would at least provide some resistance to water in the rain. All stitching is immaculate and I am convinced that it could handle a lot of "wear and tear". The money belt has two pockets, the first is small and a perfect fit for a passport, the second is larger and would easily hold notes and a boarding pass. Both pockets are secured tightly with a sturdy zip. An adjustable elasticated strap secures the money belt snugly to your waist. This strap again feels very high quality, and the clips do not feel like they would break easily if pulled. My only concern would be for those with slightly wider waists. My waist is 32" and although the strap does stretch substantially, I would imagine those with waists larger than 40" may find the strap too tight, or uncomfortable for long journeys. This is a high quality product and for the £12 paid, it represents great value for money. I can see myself using this belt for many years!

I spent a bit of time trawling the net looking at cheap money belts, all seemingly with mixed feed back. In the end I decided not to risk it and upped my price to the 12 quid for this Samsonite product. I am thoroughly glad I did! Firstly the stitching is excellent and very strong, this will obviously last for years and the straps will stay secure. Secondly, the zips are very good quality - really nice to use. Thirdly, I am not a small guy - 42" waist - and it fits with room to spare. The feel is just good quality, light and after a few hours testing it out against the skin, it seems very comfortable. The buckle closures are really solid and you have to press quite hard to detach. The size is ample for quite a lot of cash, passport and airline tickets and isn't easily seen under clothes at all. One great, unique feature is that you can detach the elastic strap altogether and just clasp the buckles attached directly to the pouch together. They market this as: "Belt detaches, allowing conversion into a tri-fold wallet". What it actually means is that you can strap it round your leg or upper arm! Great thinking Samsonite! The 1 quid delivery I paid, meant it arrived in 2 days - great service from the seller. If you want a quality, safe money bet for what really isn't expensive at all, look no further.

High quality money belt. Material is comfortable to the skin, light weight with good size pockets that can carry your travelling essentials (passport, money, and room for some extra pieces). Hides well underneath your garments and material should not cause too much sweating. The zippers, buckles and strap are all of good quality and I expect it to last for years of travelling. Worth noting is the strap can be detached turning the main component into a wallet that can be wrapped around you arm or leg. I highly recommend this to any travelers looking for a money belt.

This is a strong and spacious money belt that I have used daily over several weeks to keep valuables safely on my person while at work. I have given 4 rather than 5 starts because it is hot to wear close to the skin all day, but otherwise a very good product, which I would purchase again.

This is ideal for carrying cash/travellers cheques etc concealed under clothes. It is well made with good zips and strong clasps, its has plenty of adjustment and easily fits my 40" waist. I put my cash & cheques inside a plastic bag rather than trust the "waterproof" claim, I suspect it is more "shower proof". It is very comfortable to wear, even after 12 hours or so as I did India. My suggestion would be to use this for concealing cash, cheques and cards that you are not going to use in the day and have a bum bag for the items that you will use in the day.

Need to return it as one of the two clasps linking the strap to the pouch pops open when very little opposite force is used, such as sitting down with it around the waist. Other than that it is the usual high quality item you would expect from Samsonite. Hopefully this is unique rather than design flaw.

Ich habe mir diesen Gürtelsafe für eine Urlaubsreise gekauft. Während dieser Woche habe ich den Gürtelsafe zumeist getragen. Ich bin weiblich und trage Konfektionsgröße 36/38. Der Gürtel, welcher in seiner Länge verstellbar ist, reicht auf kleinster Einstellung gerade noch so, um an der Taille nicht zu rutschen. Für noch schmalere Menschen ist er also unter Umständen etwas zu groß. Die Tasche hat 2 Fächer. Das vordere habe ich für Ausweisdokumente und Bankkarten genutzt, das hintere für Geldscheine. Die Fächer waren m.E. ausreichend groß. Ich habe die Tasche sowohl beim Schlafen als auch bei Fußmärschen mit über 30 Grad Außentemperatur getragen. Natürlich spürt man, dass man eine Bauchtasche um hat, aber unbequem war es zu keiner Zeit. Auch bei den höheren Temperaturen, bei denen man durchaus mal ins Schwitzen kam, gab es kein unangenehmes Gefühl auf der Haut. Der Gürtelsafe ist sehr flach. Hat man nicht gerade ein eng anliegendes Oberteil an, verschwindet er optisch gänzlich. Selbst unter normal passenden T-Shirts hat man nichts gesehen. Ich kann diesen Gürtelsafe jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Prodotto fantastico...materiale ottimo e soprattutto comodissimo per viaggiare. L'ho comprato anche da regalare...spedizione ottima e chi l'ha ricevuto ne è stato felicissimo perchè è veramente utile per chi viaggia molto soprattutto all'estero...cosi almeno soldi e documnenti saranno sempre al sicuro!

Very comfortable to wear. Elastic strap adjusts to body size with 2 strong quick-release clips. Good quality zips. Large enough to take passport, car papers, credit cards and cash (and even a moble phone). If it's not too full, it is virtually invisible under a pullover.
