If you think this is a replacement for the goody clip-it is not--I have uploaded a photo to show the size difference. The size is significantly smaller BUT it has the same hold (for me) of the larger Goody clip. I have used the larger one for years and can no longer find them thought this was a replacment, then was concerned, but in the end they are actually better-size did not affect the hold and the clip is sturdier than the last fake goody clip I was able to find, so thank you for a good quality product.

I got this so I could use it to get my hair off my neck when I exercise. I have used the classic claw-style clip for years but it hurts when I do situps and this one is smoother where it would rest on the floor. Unfortunately it was too smooth & flat and ended up being too small to grab my little twist of shoulder length hair. It would grab one side but it didn't have enough of a bump to go up and over the hair so the twist started to droop and unravel out the other side. The design is just too flat to allow enough room for the twisted updo. It's like they designed it and never tried it on actual hair. They could have just looked at the measurements of the best selling size of the classic claw clip to see that they underestimated the size. I should have believed the reviews. Disappointing.

These are, overall, nice-looking hair clamps---love the style. But I have very thick hair, and therefore, sometimes a few strands migrate out of the clip to then dangle alongside my face. This doesn't always happen, though. My only other criticism is that the plastic is cheap and brittle, but since you get 6 of them, the unit price is so low, they are cheap enough to replace with the many back-ups!Update: I've now had these clips for almost a year, and am still on the first one. In spite of the plastic feeling cheap and brittle, the clip still is intact with no breakage! So these are a bargain, as long as your hair isn't super thick. And even if it is, good luck finding a larger clip in this style, so you might as well try these.

These are THE BEST hairclips for my mid length, mid thickness, Caucasian hair. First time I bought a clip like this was at a beauty supply house and it was like 20 bucks. 20 bucks for one clip! As soon as I dropped it, lost a tooth/time. Dropped it again lost another one, to where I was using that thing when it just had two teeth like a speed freak from Florida! It was getting ridiculous. So of course I checked on Amazon and looked for something that appeared similar with good reviews that mention adequate strength in the clamp.I use these everyday at work, and they're essential for me. To find them here, in a multi pack, for less than I used to pay for ONE clip was pretty epic. Clamps hard, doesn't pinch my scalp. Definitely recommend.

These are good clips but for my hair they wont hold well.I have to purchase larger clips than this.They would work for someone that has thinner or shorter hair.

These are my favorite hair clips. They hold my hair in place, they don’t slip and they are strong. The only negative would be their price, but they’re worth it!

So easy to use and hold your hair up. Just a simple twist, push the comb through while holding the clamp open and wa-la! Hair is up.
