Bottom Line Up Front: This has been a great light, well packaged and packs a punch. I think the pricing for this light is a bargain for what you get. My daughter and son have a YouTube channel and they enjoy using this light when attaching a cell phone to the holder. I've got a Galaxy S9 and it held my phone in the case well.Details: The light stands at 24-1/4" inches tall at its shortest setting and 29" inches at its tallest. The light has 10 brightness settings and three color settings. It came well-packaged and was pretty simple to put together. The light has a pivot at its neck to pivot the light to different angles. The cell phone holder held my fairly large phone easily even in it's case.The light comes with an in-wire optional settings remote and also a detached remote that works as a remote control with your phone. You have to download an app but it was easy to do. The only issue I had with the app is the picture was captured upside down but maybe that was user-error. Either way, it was an easy fix after taking the picture.The only odd thing about this is that the attachment that holds your phone comes with an unusually long screw. It doesn't limit the way it attaches to the stand, in fact, it probably makes the holder attach to a variety of larger, thicker things.We've used the light now for approximately two months and it's worked every time with no issues. The light does not come with a charger brick (the attachment that actually connects to the wall) but nowadays the bricks are fairly common. We use one we had for an old cell phone no longer in use.So, to sum it all up, if you're looking for a strong light, easy to use, versatile due to it's small size then I highly suggest this as an option. My kids had been wanting a ring light but I didn't like that some of the lights were so huge. This one fits all of the criteria and it does it well.

I bought this kit to help me with some videos I needed to do for a class. For that purpose, it worked fairly well. Since I was only using my phone's camera, the setup was sufficiently sturdy to handle that. I didn't not like that I couldn't mount the phone inside the circle of the light but instead had to mount it below the ring, attached to the pole.I was hoping to also use this as a traditional ring light for my DSLR but the camera is just too heavy to be held up with the included brackets. I had to add additional hardware to move the camera into position but the included bracket just wasn't designed for that.I really liked the ability to control both the color and brightness.I thought the Bluetooth remote was going to work out great for shooting video and minimizing post editing. It would start the video recording but always lost connection to the phone such that I could not stop the video using the remote and had to walk up to the phone and press Stop.Since it is powered via USB, I tried it out with both a wall charger and a portable battery charger for "on site" shooting. It worked equally well in both cases.Since I am done with my class, I have given to a friend who produces YouTube content to get her opinion on it and will update this review should she give me feedback.

This just came in the mail, took about 10 minutes to get set up. Instructions had both English and Japanese (however the pictures were super helpful!)It really took a bit to understand the set up, but I also had 2 children "helping".I really like how sturdy it feels. The construction seems very stable and with careful use, I think it will last a long time.I love the 3 different settings for light. The warm toned one washes me out, but would be helpful for fair toned people.I love the little bluetooth button to control your camera!! I'm worried I might lose it because it's small, but it has a little handle so I could hang it nearby or put on a keyring.My only real complaint about this product is that you dont get a power block to plug it in. You can attach it to your computer or use a block you already have (I have a usb hub for my desk that I'm using)But that's so minor! I'm actually quite shocked how high quality this is.I may use it to do facebook/instagram lives from my automotive shop or for my zoom meetings at work!My daughter wants to use it to make tictok videos.This wasnt expensive and shipped really fast!

I got this for my husband because he is interested in doing YouTube videos for music. I’m impressed with this, It is plastic but not cheaply made. It has a controller on the usb cord, it does not come with the plug but we all have extra plugs to plug the usb cord into. I like that you can adjust the lighting from cool to warmer tones. Super easy to assemble and even better easy to fold down and put away when you’re not using it, it holds the phone securely, I’ve included a video... my husband encouraged me to... sorry for the mess! Give me a thumbs up if my video was helpful. I would recommend this for videos, it would even be a cool makeup light, especially if you’re into photography. Reasonably priced and in my opinion, well made.

This small compact right light actually outputs a decent amount of light. The 3 modes (better classified as “color temperatures”) include daylight (~5500K), warm (~3200K) and an in-between (~4300K).The in-line control has the ON/OFF, dimmer control levels and the modes/color temperatures.The tripod is rather small and compact but the trade-off is that it would need to be placed on a table top; though the mount is a standard 3/5” mounting thread which means that any standard tripod or stand would work.It also comes with two different mounts: 1 for phone (clamp) that attaches to the rod of the tripod itself, and a ball-head mount for 360 degrees.As for the power source, it requires a USB power (5V) – which means it can be powered by a computer or a wall outlet. But personally, for max portability and flexibility, a power bank is preferred.
