Mult-Purpose Telescopic Folding Ladder 2.6m/3.2m/3.8m/5m Aluminium Extension Ladder A-Frame/Straight Ladder, EN131 (A-Frame, 3.8m)

These ladders are very useful in certain situations. My THREE principal 'needs' were 1. small enough to fit in the boot of my car to transport around to different house, 2. small enough to not take up too much storage space and 3. a two-in-one solution - i.e. it can be an A Frame ladder or a full length ladder. I needed an A Frame ladder to carry out various DIY tasks at various properties and also a full length ladder to occasionally access the lofts, at these properties, via a loft hatch or work on external parts of the buildings.The ladder fulfils my objectives perfectly and are well made - they are a little bit heavy - but to be fair all telescopic ladders are heavy due to the nature of their design. They are quite sturdy and perfect for a DIYer who is an occasional user.

I bought 2 (3.8m tall) as I was so impressed with the concept I thought my son would also like one! They are well made, sturdy and not heavy at all. Easy to use and even easier to store! They have been well designed and are a good price for what they are!

Quite dangerous to handle, as it collapses on itself with a fiddly mechanism and you need to be very careful keeping your fingers out of the way. It's also very heavy, and the risk to damage/scratch furniture or the walls in the house is very high. And it's uncomfortable to climb up to as well. Complete disaster.

Very sturdiness,so heavy but easy to storage. I like it.The safety is very good, and there is a small plate at the bottom for balance. There is also a safety lock on the top, which I think is very trustworthy.
