I picked the wrong color, that's on me! Make sure you know this is beige/tan, not grey. I have a 1999 Toyota Corolla, so yes - this is my 3rd broken handle in the car, and that's just interior! Plastic dry-rot is real, folks. But in any case, this does the trick. It comes with everything you need to fix the handle - the screw and the little plastic piece that attaches the wire to the handle (it's what usually breaks). It's a little bit of a pain in the neck to do this fix yourself, but I am not particularly handy or great with cars and I can do it myself in 10-15 minutes. By now, I should be a pro, but getting the plastic "neck" off the wire always takes me a bit. The only tools you need are a Phillips head screwdriver and possibly some kind of pliers/cutters/clippers to break the old plastic white piece if it is still attached. It is one of the cheapest things that can break on your car, so chin up!

Over the lifetime of this 99 Corolla, I've replaced all four interior door handles (and two outside handles, in fact). The originals lasted about 9-10 years, and the final point of failure is always the small plastic clip inside that connects to the metal rod that actually unmatched the door. Out of my last set of replacements, which I put on about four years ago, the driver side interior just failed. Instead of asking a mechanic I checked amazon this time, and found lots. The one I got from Discounted Parts seems to be a perfect fit, color matches accurately, and it was as say to replace as all the rest. I did like that the clip that connects to the door rod clips to the back of the rod rather than the front (the originals and my last set of replacements all connected in front). I don't know if this is an improvement or not but maybe that will alleviate some of the stress the plastic must go through via repeated openings and closings. It seems like an improvement anyway. I'm satisfied, and can easily open the door again.

These just keep breaking. I think maybe its a design flaw. The Toyota Corolla 2000 does not open the lock when you pull on the handle. This seems to cause the handles to break. The good news is that my 2010 TC is much improved. When you open the handle the lock pops up. No broken handles. Anyway. There is no other choice for this model, so what can ya do?

Bought this for my 1998 Toyota Carrolla. I only needed one so I bought this over the 4 pack. It took my 10min to install. One screw to remove the old handle (broken) and then simply slip the pin rod ( "L" shaped rod inside the door) into the pin hole slot on the new handle and move the clip over the rod. Then press the handle into the door and replace the screw. Viola! Now I can get out of the car without asking someone to open it from the outside. Great product.

It's a door handle. I installed it, and it opens the door! Fantastic improvement over the previous handle, which didn't open the door. Durable! I use it several times a day!UPDATE: It's been a couple of months, and the door handle broke. I am quite displeased. I ordered another one, and I hope this solves the problem. It is winter-time, and I don't want to keep rolling down my window to let myself out from the outside.

Product appears to be the same quality as original, and installs very easily, after reviewing the installation instructions on the web. Just be sure to slide the whole old unit forward after removing the screw to release the unit before attempting to pull out of the hole, and then carefully flip the plastic keeper up, to take off the actuating rod, for full removal.

Came exactly like it was advertised. Seem to be the same quality as original.

This is second of this part I bought in 2 years. It is almost identical to the original part and easy to install.The only problem is it is not last long as original. I bought one 2 years ago. It works fine but broke acouple weeks ago. I guess the plastic is not as strong as original part. But the price is cheap and easyto replace. So it's not a big problem.
