Works as expected, but oooooh sometimes you don't want to know. We've noticed there are times we use this to see where an accident occurred after an older dog visits us, and sometimes even after shampooing with our upright steam cleaner - the spots will show.Definitely makes us want to replace our carpet completely!

Works well! Probably too well, I'm so mad at my dog!!! Pee I never knew was there is definitely there when using this light. Uh!! I do wish it was a little brighter...hard to use when the room is lit up.

Apparently my old dog peed on everything! Everything lights up like a Christmas tree, even places I know he was too short to urinate on. ???

Bought for my mom as a dual gag gift/useful way to keep track of how bad the dog's been. My dad pointed out that this was just mean to him--fair enough but at least it's better for us.

I bought this as a gift for my mother due to a strange odor that was coming from the carpets of her new home. We were able to use the UV Light to find several hidden stains that were being missed by the carpet cleaners from a previous owners pets. The light worked great and thanks to this UV-light we were able to identify and remove the issue and the scent! I will be ordering another of these for myself as it proved to be very handy. Unfortunately it didn't work as expected. It did show area's areas of which l any liquid may have spilled or splashed, but many times it did not locate pet urine. I found Picking up my area rugs and looking underneath for a stain to be more effective. I was disappointed.

Works great. Great product. Now, to just deal with the dryed spots. (Forgot to mention the product was out of the products container when it arrived. The amazon shipping box wasn't necessarily tampered with but it also didn't look like it had not had the amazon tape cut a little on the sides. I'm sure the flashlight was out because of the easy simple type material the box is made of and the other products that were shipped with and the way the inside was packed. The flashlight was at bottom. Then dog ball and the box with the other item on top/side of ball and flashlight. Basically it was packed in an unusual order.

I rescued a 2 year old dog. A male dog. He wasn't neutered. I think you all know what that means. Anyway, he's been neutered and vetted and gets lots of love. I am still working on the marking issue. This fantastic little light helps me fond all his "property lines" so I can both clean the area and keep a closer eye on him when he sneaks off. The room has to be pretty dark for it to work. I also found that you have to really look hard on gray fabrics to pick up the contrast. Overall, I would definitely recommend this.
