Perfect fit and finish
Perfect fit and finish, though since its so shiny and bright white I may have to replace the rest of them. At this price its not outside the budget.

It's an acrylic globe.
We ordered two of these at different times, and the openings were different sizes, and the acrylic was two different thicknesses. These are not all the same globes! We were using them for space helmets (See Spaceballs!) so it was somewhat irrelevant, but if you were to actually use these for a lamp I'd imagine those minor details would be pertinent.

Actual size it 10", returning
Sold as 12" globe, actual Item measures out to 10". Also has a huge "nipple" on the top from where the plastic was molded. Sending back.

Disappointed.
Better than the yellowing plastic one I'm replacing, but the quality is pretty poor. There is a large "nipple" on the bottom that my old one didn't have and the seam around the entire globe is pretty unsightly. If you're hanging this from the ceiling, be aware that the nipple of the bottom looks pretty bad.
