iGadgitz Black PU Leather Case Cover Compatible with Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2015 2014 2013 2012 with Sleep/Wake Function & Integrated Hand Strap

First off, do not let the month long shipping estimate scare you off. I ordered this item on January 28th, and recieved it February 6th; only 8 business days (2 days after I recieved my Kindle)! I live in south Texas so I was very suprised and happy to recieve this item so much faster than the March 1st estimate. As for the product, I could not be happier. It has a very slim profile and is made of high quality materials. I was initally concerned about the integrity of the small corner tabs holding the Kindel, but after recieving it I am happy to report that they are very sturdy and look as if they will stand the test of time. They securly hold the device and I have no worries of it falling out or becoming dislodged. As for installation, all you have to do is pop it in the tabs; nothing confusing in the slightest. Another feature I love is the automatic sleep function that is enabled when you close it. You can see it turn to 'sleep mode' when the case is about 1/2" from completely closing. When you open it back up the screen lights straight back to the page that you were on. As for materials, the form fitting leather is very rich and precisely cut to minimize bulk. The stitches are very tight and the suede interior is smooth when closed against the screen. It is extremely straight forward to transform the case into the angular reading stand; all you have to do is pop the bottom corner tabs off and bend the back panel at the premoulded crease line and voila- easy hands free reading from a table. When you do want to simply hold the device in front of you there is a handy elastisized handle on the back that you can slip your fingers under to minimize strain. I did find this strap to be slightly uncomfortable if I slid my entire hand under it; the most comfrotable way to hold it is to just stick about 1/2 of you fingers under it and wrap your thumb around the front of the Kindle. The elastic is very strong and will compress your hand uncomforably if you stick your entire hand under the strap, but with only a few fingers it is a perfect amout of hold and is comfortable/secure. The only point of concern in this case for me is the little elastic band on the top of the case that loops over one of the tabs to hold the two panels together while you read. It is just a simple little band of elastic that I fear over time may stretch and wear out. But it does seem fairly sturdy and thick and I believe it will hold up pretty well considering it's only job is to hold two leather panels together and it's not under much stress. Overall, I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase and highly recommend it for anyone. I only wish they had more solid color options as most other cases do these days. IGadgitz has a terrific case that really is the ultimate Kindle paperwhite case. Let me explain briefly, as Im not fond of exceedingly wordy reviews. This case is soft to the touch, has a clean, streamlined outside appearance, to go along with an elegant, practical inside look. The hand pouch is easy on the fingers, put together well and is one of the main reasons why I bought this case, in addition to the magnet cover, which turns the Kindle off/on. As a bonus, IGadgitz's case allows for placement in portrait mode, or what I like to call hands free. If you enjoy reading at a table, just unhook the bottom holders and flip over the other side of the case. It seems confusing but once you try it, its second nature. Another great reason which some may balk at is this case has a nice latch on it, so when I fold the case over, it neatly holds it in place, no unattractive elastic strap draped across the entire case! I also have the official Amazon case and I prefer this one because the official one lacks a hand strap and cant be used in true portrait mode, easel style. I do however, prefer the the way the original holds the kindle better, its more form fitting and a cleaner look as opposed to clasps. Both the official Kindle paperwhite and IGadgitz's cases are outstanding, but I much prefer the case that can do it all and still look elegant doing it.

I probably spent too much time looking at and comparing options for a case for my new Kindle Paperwhite, and this wasn't the first one I ordered. I sent my first one back and tried this one. While I was initially hesitant because it seemed it would take a while shipping from abroad, the wait wasn't too long. But it was worth the wait. This case is EXACTLY what I wanted: * It is small and lightweight - more so than I expected actually. * The flap on the back fits my hand nicely. I actually tend to only slide 2-3 fingers through the flap, which is perfectly fine and comfortable. I've found that flap to be a really nice feature. * The ability to convert the case into a stand is also a really nice feature to have - I use it far more than I ever thought I would for "hands-free" reading * The case seems durable. I've had it a few months and have noticed no deterioration in quality at all. This case is a GREAT value for the price and the next time I need one I won't have to waste any time at all shopping - I'll get this one again.

*This part has no bearing on the quality of the product* I just wanted to post about my experience with the seller iGadgitz. I had a problem with my initial order, and I am extremely pleased by the way iGadgitz handled it. All that was needed on my part was a single, short email to their customer service department, and a very helpful man proceeded to solve my issue without delay and at iGadgitz's cost. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Now on to the actual review. The case looks very nice, the photos are very accurate representations of the product you will receive. It does add bulk to the Kindle, but that is to be expected, and is the price you pay for wanting to protect it. I don't think I'll be using the hand strap very often at all, it makes my hand too warm rather quickly. But I didn't buy this case because of that. I bought it because of the stand function. Currently my case is a bit stiff, but I expect this will not be a problem later on down the line when it gets broken in a bit more. What I am slightly worried about, is the durability, especially of the part which folds to become the stand. This case is slightly cheap-feeling, and this is reflected in the price. But only time will tell. Otherwise, it is nice and stiff, providing good protection, and the auto-on/off function works perfectly.

L'unico difetto è che è ingombrante, e il Kindle non si riesce più a tenere dai bordi. Ma i pregi annientano questo difetto. E' robusto, il Kindle si aggancia perfettamente, copre solo gli angoli senza quindi essere ingombrante, l'elastico posteriore è intelligente e funzionale, e la cover anteriore funge da reggilibro, spegne in automatico il kindle quando la si chiude e, cosa non da poco, si ripiega completamente sul retro, permettendo una comodissima lettura con una sola mano, usando il pollice per sfogliare le pagine. Fa il suo dovere e lo fa bene, costa poco ed è veramente pratica e funzionale: sono contentissimo.

This is a good cover for your Kindle Paperwhite. It is not bulky, props up for reading at a desk and has a convenient grip for reading in bed. it works well and protects your Kindle when you drop it.

Die Hülle ist sehr stabil und ist wirklich passgenau für den neuen Kindle Paperwhite. Die Funktion für das Aufrichten funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Lasche zum halten ist auch gut durchdacht, aber das Gummiband leiert mit der Zeit aus. Das finde ich allerdings überhaupt nicht schlimm. Im Gegenteil, es gibt einem Raum den Kindle immer wieder anders zu halten. Großartige, stabile, durchdachte und schicke Hülle zum vernünftigen Preis. Übrigens: Ich konnte keinen chemischen Geruch wahrnehmen beim auspacken. Alles in allem: Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Arrived quickly and meets my expectations. I mainly use the hand strap which feels really secure. Would recommend.
