Good series

nice book to introduce Myanmar

Beautifully drawn. The translations are great. My family is from Burma and I bought this for my niece and another friend's child since it's a rarity to find Burmese-English children's book's.

A beautiful and thoughtful book. A window into another culture for any child or grown-up. Lovely to read together.

The story was written in English and then translated into Burmese. The Burmese prose is awkward and not authentic. This is not how Burmese people talk or write. The typesetting is also poor. There are many misspellings in Burmese and many words are unnecessarily cut in the middle. I wish they would just take an existing Burmese story/poem and translate it to English, instead of the other way around.

Very happy with this book. I bought it for my grandson who has Burmese heritage and is interested in all things such, he is 8.
