Tallulah's Toe Shoes

Daughter has been dancing ballet for a few months now, she's 3 yrs old and is curious to try point shoes and tiptoing on her toes. This book is an inspiring story that she will get there one day when her balance and feet are ready. Love the illustrations that shows steps can be done in ballet slippers and point shoes and both are equally wonderful to look at.

What I liked about Tallulah's tutu is that she learned she loved Ballet and was willing to put in the work to earn her tutu over time - no immediate reward. I found this book resolved the issue immediately. She returns the toe shoes after only 1 day with no real damage - no limping around because she WANTS toe shoes, no long talk from the older dancer about being patient.

My daughter loves ballet and loves all of the Tallulah ballet books!

My daughter and I love this book. As a tiny aspiring ballerina, it's good to have a book that shows the challenges of hard work in something you like to do. It's not always fun and games. Such a sweet story!

We had to buy this because the library would not let us keep renewing it and my girls love it. My three year old regularly takes it to bed with a flashlight to keep looking at the pictures. It will be a hit with your little girls.

Marilyn Singer has done another good job with Tallulah's Toe Shoes. The illustrations are beautiful and captivating, and the story-line relate-able to my 5 & 7 year old grandchildren, who want me to read all of Tallulah's ballet escapades time and again.

A lovely, lovely book. All little dancers aspiring for toe shoes will fall in love with it. Beautifully illustrated, as are all of the Tallulah books, with thoughtful, heartfelt writing.

Bought for granddaughter who loves the glittery dustcover. Wonderful illustrations and a good message to would-be ballerinas.

Super nice book that also explain to little ballet dancers why they cannot Wear toe shoes !One of the favorite of the collection according to the kids. Personnally i like them all.
