tl;dr version: For $32 you can't go wrong.I've been using this backpack cooler almost daily since I bought it two weeks ago. I use three, small rectangular "blue ice" packs placed on the bottom, on top of a small, folded dish towel to absorb any condensation. I haven't used it with ice. Some reviewers say the top zipper leaks if you use ice that melts. I can well imagine...so don't use ice.There is plenty of room in this thing for enough food and drinks for two or three people. It's kept me fed through a few double shifts and everything stays cold for a good 20 hours. The blue ice packs are still half-frozen after that long. I live in a temperate part of the country, I can't say anyone in Arizona or Nevada, for instance, would have the same results, so caveat emptor.The straps are long and wide enough to be comfortable when wearing this as a backpack, and I'm a pretty big guy. It also carries well slung over one shoulder, which is not always the case.Some of the reviews fault the zippers for breaking. Yeah, I can see that happening if you jerk them, are impatient, or in a hurry and not paying attention. I've had no problems with them. Same with the stitching; I pack out at about 20 pounds and I've seen no signs of wear and tear, yet. It has only been two weeks, sure, but still...Pros: keeps food plenty cold for a whole day when used with re-freezable ice packs; lots of room inside, comfortable straps. Netting pockets for water bottles, etc. on the sides are deep and big enough for wide bottles.Cons: zippered storage compartments on the front and top are inadequate. No "waterproof" storage compartment for keys, phone, etc.

Living in FL, we make lots of trips to the beach and theme parks and have tried just about all the different cooler types out there. Not sure why it took so long to think of a backpack style, but so glad we came across this one! It’s been the easiest to carry around, holds a decent amount of food and drinks, and actually keeps things cold without leaking. We normally freeze a couple bottles of water to double as ice packs, which we can later drink once it melts. One of the nights, we were just too tired to unpack it once we got home after a full day (in blazing sun) at Universal. The next day, found the frozen bottles of water were still pretty frozen! The pocket on the outside is useful for storing other things- wipes/napkins, utensils, etc. Also love that it comes in purple, my fav color. The bright shade of purple makes it easy to locate our spot on the beach or pick it out amongst other bags. Bonus, there’s a bottle opener attached to it. Love it!

Wonderful backpack. I use it for my commute on my motorcycle to n from work. There's more than enough room for 2 ice packs, 3 large drinks, snacks, wallet, etc. And small enough to not weigh me down. I might buy another just for the change of colors 👌🏾

I love ALMOST everything about this cooler. There is a bottle opener attached to it along with a D-ring to clip your keys on. It has a roomy front pocket which held my small wallet so I had no need to lug a purse around. There are mesh pockets on the side which, for me, held koozies and bug spray. It has a huge capacity! It held 18 slim cans and 4 bottles of water along with ice and there was still room for more, however, that load was a bit heavy... but that’s not the cooler’s fault. I was able to carry it on my back and that is very convenient. I used it for the first time on July 4 to go to a friend’s house for a party and fireworks. It was not sunny, it had just rained so it was still overcast and not terribly hot out as it was about 7pm but the ice had melted and leaked all over the sidewalk within 3 hours of packing the cooler. It is NOT leakproof. The front pocket had water in it and my leather wallet was soaked. When I opened the cooler this morning (July 5) to empty it, there was no ice, melted or otherwise, in it so all that ice had melted and leaked out. The beverages were still cold though. So... it kept the drinks cool even though all of the ice melted and leaked out all over my trunk. I would’ve given it 5 stars if it hadn’t been advertised as “ Leakproof”.

This bag not only keeps things cold but it is also comfortable to carry. I have not had any issues with leaking. It is the perfect size for day to day outings.

My sons now help carry it because of the comfy straps. We love this cooler & highly recommend it for the great price.

Doesn't leak, more foldable/collapsible than other backpack coolers. Have owned this cooler for several years and still doesn't leak. Just purchased a second one because it's in high demand with my family. Love it!

It was pretty good when it worked. But then it became not leak proof after about 1.8 years! I’d say for the price it is totally worth it, but I’d rather pay a bit more and be able to use for longer because I don’t even use it that often.
