Great for solving issues with my car
This helped me solve an issue on my car the a garage would have charged a fortune for. Easy to use just plug in and follow the instructions and tells you what the codes are. It is quick to diagnose the issue all the palm of your hand easy to read and value for money.

Scan for diy
Great little Scanner for basic car maintenance. Easy to use but cable is a bit short if your port is well hidden

A must have for a home mechanic.
It works well, easy to navigate, does what it’s supposed to. I had an engine light come up on my 2011 Vivaro, from the performance of the engine I had worked out it was the air mass sensor, ordered a new one plus this tester , plugged it in, straight away it found the sensor was faulty. Fitted the new so sensor, plugged the Autel in again, it confirmed no other problems present, erased the codes, engine light went out. Sorted! Well worth the money.

Good value but...
I have a 66 plate Dacia Duster with the diagnostics port hidden deep inside the glove box. It came up with an orange sine wave warning light which was cleared by the local garage for £30. I could do better for less. Hence my purchase of this product. It is simple to use but the flex needs to be longer. It didn't recognise the fault on the dashboard but cleared it all the same so I'm not sure what the issue is there. The garage mentioned the usual particle filter which they could change for £170. I'll keep this in the glovebox for the time being. The lack of instructions was obvious although it is very simple. The casing is tough and obviously doesn't require batteries either. You could do worse...
