CAM Backup Camera System (1)

I purchased this system in Feb 2015 and it is now July 2021. It replaced the OEM black and white CRT monitor and has worked great and is a great value. To bad they are no longer available. I installed this in my 2003 Fleetwood Discovery and had to order a pair of "cable adapters" from Weldex in order to use my existing cables. Apparently, "the industry" changed the connector style around 2005. Very pleased with my purchase.

Good camera but wrong one for my motor home.

The camera was delivered on time exactly as Amazon promised. It works fine. One installation glitch was that there should have been a left and right side bracket for the camera and there were two right-side brackets. Some drilling solved that.

I purchased this camera system for my 07 Fleetwood Bounder when my original Weldex Monitor and camera died.I wanted to go to a full color system.The system came as advertised, however the colour camera is actually black and not white as it is pictured, the black camera was perfect for the back of my RV.The monitor and camera plugged right into my existing cable, the rear camera is smaller than the original so I had a new rear plate made and attached the camera to the rear plate, works greateasy hook up, the monitor grid is really nice, I actually hooked the grid wire to power so the grid stays on all the time, I like this for lane changes and to see how far the other cars are away from me.The included mounting bracket is perfect for any location, ceiling or dash mount. I gambled as they don't show a picture of it but it worked out perfectly.The monitor and camera is super clear even at night. The monitor menu is very easy to use.The price is fantastic !! I saved huge dollars over other RV websites selling camera systems

Got my Weldex Cam yesterday, contained EVERYTHING NEEDED TO INSTALL, it replaces a Weldex Black and White in my 2006 Bounder, it came with a new cable, which I needed apprently, so installed camera, run cable down back, along the frame and up inside to drivers post, across to monitor installed in middle of overhead, a great monitor mount. wired into exsisting wireing loom and bingo, works great, first time, has sound, color monitor, and back up grid. I checked this system out before buying it and found it had the same camera and monitor plus a new run of cable that other places were selling for 7 o 9 hundred dollars, very happy with it, thanks AMAZON for a great deal and FREE SHIPPING!!

Worked great as a replacement in my 2007 Alfa Motorhome. The original was a Weldex black and white. The existing camera harness worked fine with the new unit

This backup camera and monitor were a direct replacement for the original black and white unit that was originally installed in my motor home. I am very well pleased with this system and I did not even have to use the supplied cable since I was able to use the original cable that was in the motor home. I would recommend this unit to anyone!

purchase to replace failed old unit. purchased this brand to replace same existing brand so I didn't have to rerun the cable works fine would recommend.
