I purchased the Guardian Drain Lock for my outdoor drain that would get covered with leave or debris and clog. Thus causing a back up and flooding in the basement. Since my purchase of the Guardian Drain Lock I have had only one flood in my basement. The drain is working as I anticipated it would to solve the problem. To improve its performance for out doors use I recommend adding a screen on the inside of the dome, cause small debris will block the drain. I have to check the drain frequently to prevent flooding.

Fit great, will stop my employees from clogging the drain.

I went to put this drain cover in. It seems like it will fit in my driveway to keep out leaves but you need a special VEGA T45 TORX Security Bit to install it properly. Who has one of those? Why would a cheap knock off version not be included with the $69 drain cover. I now have to wait 4 more days and $10 more dollars for the bit. At least bold the words (Torx Bit Sold Separately) in the web page. Please be kinder to your customers!
