New, but not in Original Box

It works perfectly
It's awesome, no idea why so many people complain about it not working and destroying your records, this TT does the job, sound is not awesome through built-in speakers but its what you can expect for a $50 turntable, plays 180g records perfectly, I've tried a few 45rpm and they sound OK, sometimes I do have to use the adapter and some others I don't, but that's mainly because of the records. I've already played new records and some 30 year old records, both sound perfect, I totally recommend this turntable. I have connected it to a stereo and the sound is way better. The only thing that troubles me is that it makes a loud humming noise when connecting it to my stereo, no idea if its the stereo or the turntable, sounds like a grounding issue but it's not that bad.

Great to start out with
Came just as advertised and in a timely manner. It might not be the best record player out there, but I don't think you should expect much for the price. The quality is just as good as you would expect from a $50 player. The volume is pretty good and I usually don't need to turn it all the way up because it's actually pretty loud. The sound quality is okay for a cheap player. There's not much of a bass and sometimes the sound can come out sounding tinny. Again, just what you can expect from a cheap player. If anything, the tinny sound adds to the whole "vintage" feel - even if unintentionally. The black "leather" and red velvet interior has a nice, vintage aesthetic that helps give my room character. At first try my records would keep skipping, but I think it was partly because of the record and because the platter kept making the record wobble. This problem was easily fixed by using the 45 rpm adapter to make the record closer to the stylus, reducing the wobble.I bought this as a beginner record player to try out the hobby, and I think it is perfect for anyone who wants to see how invested they want to be in the record collecting hobby. It's cheap enough to be affordable and a good enough quality to keep me interested in records.

A Great Starter Player
I got this as a starter, until I can get the one I want. It's great. I haven't turned up the volume all the way yet, the speakers are loud enough at mid range for the room I have it in. I really like that it's compact and I can just pick it up and carry it to where ever I need to without any fuss.

Extremely disappointed!
I have never written a review, but had to in this case. This is a beautiful looking record player, but it did not work. As others have said the platter was warped, the needle scratched and skipped all over the place. I gave this as a Christmas present (along with a new album) and it was so disappointing (to say the very least) to have it not work. Had to run out to Target to replace it with a Crosley, which worked flawlessly right out of the box.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
I think for the money you pay, then yes this is a good record player. However I do not recommend this to anyone. The needle is way too light so anytime I would set the needle, if the record rocked a little the needle would skip and scratch up my brand new record. There are tricks to avoid this like setting a penny on top but I would rather just return it and get my money back. If you're really passionate about music and record collecting then INVEST. Another thing I noticed was when the record did play there was static playing in the background. I'm not sure if it was because the needle was cheap or if the speakers were just blown. Either way, this was a brand new record player and I'm not satisfied with my purchase.

Three Stars
Great for a portable but average sound quality

Love Love Love
I was skeptical about this particular record player because I didn't know much about the brand and I honestly wanted a Crosley. I'm very pleased with the product and ao happy that I chose to purchase this one rather than the Crosley because it is cheaper and works just as great'

Beautiful quality works best with Desktop Speakers.
This player is very cute, looks a bit smaller then crosley in the same class turntable. The sound has alot of Treble but, no Bass at all. None of these portables have bass sound. No mater what brand. But, some do have a bit of more Power in sound, by 1 mw watt power. Hardly enough to sound much better, anyway. If you want a nice player, one thats solid in craftsmen ship, and at a good affordable price, then get this record player. I give it 4 stars because it sounds like all the others, no bass. Now, you can hook it up to Desktop Speakers and it will sound great! I have it hooked up to a pair of Boss desk speakers, and it sounds heavenly. A note to the manufacturer, please add a better Amp to this unit with tone controls. Because one of these porable brands should have better sound.
