LIVE 500BT - Around-Ear Wireless Headphone - Blue

I needed a new pair of over the ear headphones and I’m glad I purchased these JBL 500 bt’s. The battery life and bass are improvements over the e55bt models. The color selection was better than most competitors and reasonably priced. With added features like wireless phone calling and Alexa made this a smart purchase. There are some drawbacks that are minor inconveniences but not substantial enough to deter my enthusiasm for my headphones. These headphones wireless charge lasts days not hours. They charge at a moderate pace and easily sync with my mobile devices, iPhone and iPad, the Alexa voice assistant is a nice extra that is convenient and I wasn’t necessarily looking for but grateful it’s added. Coupled with my Amazon Music I listen for hours skipping songs without having to touch my devices. Calls are clear and I don’t have to raise my voice like I did with my earbuds. The bass and noise canceling work well, sometimes to well when people are trying to speak to me. They are comfortable to wear and have heft without being bulky or heavy. Even while being used wired the cord is lengthy enough as to avoid needless jerking. Superficially I like the green color and was looking to avoid austere colors like black or white. Some drawbacks are the instructions are cumbersome and the font size is light and microscopically tiny. It feels like I have to take the headphones off to utilize some of the functions( off/on switch volume and Bluetooth) it seems like they could have been placed better or on separate earphones. For the price these oversights are easily forgiven. If you’re looking for an upgrade on your wired or wireless headphones and need a cost effective model with nice extras these headphones are great. If your an audiophile you may need to look elsewhere.

These are by far my favorite headphones to date. I’m at my computer for hours daily either gaming or simply watching entertainment on the internet and I’ve been through countless headphones with none of them fitting the needs I have. I need headphones that are comfortable that don’t hurt my ears, no wires to fumble around, great sound quality, noise cancellation and also a battery that won’t die every 8 hours. So far I have always had to trade some of those things for another, however not with these. These headphones are perfect in every way. The battery lasts for a non-countable amount of hours. I throw them on the charger once a week for like an hour and I have never heard a battery low indication since buying them. The sound quality is A tier, as you’ll never get the same sound from these as you would with S tier Bose or Sony without spending another $200... but you get so close. I came to these after trying the JBL 400BT and my biggest complaint was how the sit on top of your ears and compresses them making it very painful to wear for longer than 40 minutes. After buying these that sit around your ears and not on top of them I realized how stupid it is to buy on ear headphones. Lastly the noise cancellation is great. So long as you have some volume from your media source going into the headphones the outside world is silent. If that’s not your thing all the time these have built in microphones that pick up exterior sounds like your voice and things in your environment and play them into your headphones just with a slight sound level decrease from your media source. These are my favorite headphones I’ve ever had and I cannot recommend them enough, if just one person reads this and buys them my duty has been fulfilled

Only had these for a few days now. Sound quality is good both audio and mic. Battery life seems pretty good. Easy to setup and get going with my devices. And can use them with the Xbox One using the provided headphone cable wired into the controller. In addition, the battery life does seem to be pretty solid on them. I use them good bit during the day (music, videos, phone calls/meetings). Unplug them in the AM and plug them back in after work and have yet to have the battery die on me. These are definitely not over the ear though (described as that when I bought them but looks like they've now updated the description). I do not have a large head nor large ears and they sit right on top. While comfortable enough to use, after a period of time my ears will start to ache a bit. I really like over the ear headphones for this reason and these are not. Just my personal preference/comfort.

I got these expecting a decent but not amazing headset from JBL, simply based off all the reviews. However I am floored by how much I like them. As other people have said they are for smaller heads, but that was a main motivator for me since I am smaller and every other headset I find that I like are far to big. These fit perfectly on my head and over my ears without slipping down or falling off, and I've been running with them. The battery life thus far has been awesome, im still working on my first charge. It connects easily to my devices with no issues. The sound quality has been amazing for me, yes its not very bassy like some people said but again for me personally I don't like a lot of bass so I have no complaints. Overall would buy again or recommended to people, JBL remains my go to brand for audio devices.

I'm loving these, great neutral sound which means more towards reference/monitor headphones, than what you would expect, but you can still EQ your audio the way you like it via the JBL app.. Very comfortable fit and the cups isolate outside noises very well. These don't have noise cancelling but TBH they don't need to, I mainly use them in ambient mode which basically sounds like listening to music or watching a movie, an hearing audio in a living room with regular speakers because you can hear everything around you as well as what you are listening... And if you need to block outside noise completely, just turn it off.

I needed a wireless headset with good sound quality and battery life for work, but without noise cancellation. They aren’t as comfortable as something that goes fully around the ear, but they are less bulky. I can wear these for 2-3 hrs continuously before the band hurts my head - they’re not as comfortable as my dt 770 pros. The sound is not at all fatiguing; and as an owner of some JBL monitors (bought at Guitar Center, RIP), the sound is consistent with my expectations from the brand (not too bright, not too bloomy). Plus the green matched my iPhone case.

This is a more than decent sounding set of (almost) over the ear headphones that do NOT feature active noise cancellation. They isolate from outside sound, and they do a better than passable job of it. More than adequate for most users. Materials quality seems high and they are cleanly manufactured with no cheap-looking parts or rough edges. Volume levels are plenty for my taste. You can have enough bass and volume to make your eyes vibrate and your ears ring. I can't relate to the people who state these have no volume in their reviews. Perhaps it's a difference in the source we're listening from. 90% of the time I'm listening to Spotify on my Galaxy S9, so not top quality audio, but still with these JBL's the notes ring out well in the mid-range and high registers. Bass responses can be clean, but if you get too much bass guitar mixed in with a lot of bass drum and the notes are coming fast, these 'phones get muddy on the low end. I give them a 3 for sound, which is great, IMO, for the $80 price tag. The EQ fails to impress, but it's better than nothing. The presets in the app are worthless for my music, primarily modern and classic rock, blues and metal. Tinkering with the EQ helps, but I set several presets myself with widely varied patterns and could still switch between them with no discernible change in sound. How does that work? But still, for the money, they're getting it done. The big deal breaker for me is that the housing of the cans themselves creak and pop every time I turn my head. I examined both sides and could find nothing apparent that would explain why they were popping. No warped parts, no breaks or cracks or missing pieces. They're just noisy due to their construction, as near as I can tell. An additional gripe is that once in my 6 hours of testing, they cut themselves off. I was walking and wearing them and they just stopped, even played the power-off tone. Opened the app and it said battery was 100% (after 2 hours of listening, so I have my doubts on that as well). I turned them on again and resumed listening for another hour without incident. Which brings me to my last gripe. They aren't as comfortable as I would like. They're decent, but they do NOT go over my ears. They sit on my ears, and push in on my earlobes, and after about 20 minutes, adjustments must be made. In the end, most electronics have quirks. The quirks I attribute to these JBLs can be lived with if decent sound and saving cash are your top priorities. My Sony WH-1000xm3s are the best out there currently. But they're at best, $200 more than these. You just can't have all the Sonys offer for 1/4th the cost. However, if these are in your budget, you could do a lot worse.

These are great headphones! The are well priced, the quality is good (and I’d say really good for the price they are), great noise cancelling, and this may be strange, but the fit around my ears very well. They don’t make my ears or head hurt. They pair very easily and they have great microphone capabilities. I use them a lot when on zoom calls. I was hesitant to purchase these but I am very happy I did.

Buon isolamento passivo e ascolto ambiente, ibassi vanno regolati con app. a piacere come si vuole.Non è troppo differente dalla 660 che ha l'anc.Essendo una over ear stanca poco se le indossi per un film intero.

Einfache Bedienung und sehr guter Klang.

Muy cómodos, insonorización perfecta, un poco más de volumen no estaría nada mal, otros modelos JBL inferiores suenan mucho más, pero la calidad es excepcional.
