Hide and Seek Harry at the Beach (Hide and Seek Harry Boardbooks) Board book – May 13, 2014

I got this for my two and a half year old grandson. I like to have a good easy read when I hit the sand so when I took him for his first trip to the beach with me I picked up Harry! We read it together while sitting on our beach towel, and he loved it. The next weekend at home, he wanted it read to him again and again. He loves to point to where Harry is hiding. I always like to have books that relate to the adventures that we have planned - so a trip to the beach gets a beach theme..... a trip to the zoo merits books about elephants and monkeys! Then when we read the books later, I can always remind them about when and where we first read the book!

This is my 16 month old’s favorite book! He loves finding Harry on each page. He also loves the little crab that appears on most pages. Each page has 4 or 5 words on it. I think this book is perfect for 1-2 year olds but older children will probably find it boring.

Gave this to my granddaughter for Christmas. She has had me read it to her multiple times. She loves "finding" the cute hippo who is hiding (not so well) on each page. The book easily holds her attention from cover to cover.

Wow! I had no idea how much loved this little book would be. My 19 month old granddaughter absolutely loves looking for and pointing out all the little objects in each picture, that are repeated on subsequent pages - things such as crabs, birds, beach balls, hats, pails, umbrellas, etc. She hasn't tired of this story, even after what must be 100 readings so far!A great book for increasing vocabulary and recognition of words and objects.

I thought it would be a cute and fun book for kiddoes, it was insanely simplistic and not that great. Good for small kids under 2 I would say. Definitely wasn't a hit for my 4 year old nephew. Pictures and illustrations are super cute though.

Very cute book for toddlers. My son loves hippos so this book is a hit just because of that. It is short so it will hold the attention of a younger toddler. And it is definitely entertaining as the hippo tries to hide even though the hippo is too big. My toddler things the hippo is "so silly!".

This book is adorable! I bought it as a baby shower gift along with Hide and Seek Harry Around the House. They were a huge hit! The illustrations are colorful and great for the little ones. The book is durable and easy for kiddos to hold onto/ turn pages. These books will be purchased again for the next baby shower or kids birthday party I to go to!!

I buy this book for all my friends' babies. They all love it and love the silly hippo!

My one year old loves pointing to where Harry is hiding on every page. This is definitely one of her favorites.
