Cat Collar, Pink Roses (Color Will Vary)

I have been using Beastie Bands for over 20 years now, and absolutely swear by them! They are so light your pet doesn't even feel them after the first 5 seconds. They come in wide variety of patterns, all of which glow in the dark for increased visibility. Highly, highly recommend!

We love these collars. They are soft and stretchy, so we don’t have to worry about the cats getting caught. The velcro is strong and secure, and it doesn’t roll. Also, other collars kind of rubbed at their necks and rubbed away some of the fur, but these have not. We originally found these at a locally owned cat store, but they closed and now Amazon has us covered. These are the only collars I will use for the cats going forward as they seem to be the safest option for my cats.

After having to replace the collar of one of my escape artists 3 times, I finally found Beastie Bands, and these are AWESOME. She liked to take her regular (nylon, breakaway) collars off almost daily, and I'd tried three different brands previously in the hopes of finding one that she'd leave on. No luck.Then I found these. They're stretchy enough that I have no fears she would ever get caught in something and unable to get away, but they're secure enough that I only once had to put it back on her, after she conned one of the other cats into pulling on the end. I trimmed the ends closer, and no more problems. She's been wearing it now for a year, and it has held up really well. I don't see any fraying or fuzzing the way I usually do with the nylon collars, so I suspect that it will hold up for several years and still look good.

Alas, I was hoping for the purple collar pictured, but got black. It's ok - the pink roses look good on a black background. These are great cat collars, our cats have worn them for many years. I would not go back to hard collars with those ridiculous bells attached. And the Beastie Bands are trim-to-fit neoprene so you don't have to worry about getting the wrong size. Our younger cat found a way to fray the edges of his Beastie Band though, so I'm always trimming snags. This was a cat who went collar-free for the first two years of his life and my husband thought there was no way he'd adjust to wearing one, but he did, instantly - yay, Beatsie Bands!

I love these collars. They seem comfortable and safe. I have 3 cats and also got one for my mom’s cat. These worked for all but one cat. He never scratched at it but I realized too late that he was broken out and his fur under the collar was gone. I was shocked. The collar was loose so it wasn’t that it was too tight. He must have been allergic to the neoprene or something in the collar. I still like these for my other cats. Just to be on the safe side I would recommend checking your cat frequently to make sure there isn’t any irritation.

I was about to love this band because of how lightweight it is on my cat. At one point however I noticed it was stuck on her lower canine tooth! Poor girl’s mouth was stuck open and she was pawing at her face frantically. Apparently she’d somehow stretched it out over her mouth (while trying to paw it off maybe? Or it got stuck on something and stretched over her face?) I didn’t have it on too tight, but not too loose either. It is a stretchy band, and that velcro does not ‘breakaway’ at all. So I’m giving this a “nope” as it seems unsafe — unless you keep it (too) tight around the neck.

The only cat collar I use on my cats! They “pop” off the safety snap ones and find them lying around the house totally abandoned. The Beastie Bands are very stretchy and the boys could slip out of them should the need arise, but light weight so they don’t mind wearing it. Nicely made, able to attach I’d tags and even a sizable on the youngest, a 5 month old kitten, so we know where the wee fiend is!!! Lovely pattern choices and just for the record, I purchased the ”Roses” one for a friend’s kitty and it is gorgeous and they’ve loved it and ordered 2 more as backup. Best cat collar ever.

very vibrant colors, material doesn't shred like other colors and you very generous length. I had to cut a little off and then it was perfect size. her bell is a larger size so we can really hear her around the house and it still works well with this collar. and she's been wearing it for about 3 months now and looks as new as day one.
