I'm a properties designer and I purchased two of these for a production of "A Christmas Carol." They fit perfectly into our design - just the right look and size. I did increase the size of the whole to hold the quill to accommodate the larger quill we had for Scrooge and they still look wonderful. I am also using the quills they cam with for Cratchet and another character in the production. They look great onstage!Figments Studio was also wonderful to work with. I had some specific questions about the production and their response was timely and helpful.I would definitely buy from them again! Merry Christmas, friends!

Very cute
Really cute! We bought it for our signing table at our Victorian Christmas themed wedding. It looks perfect! I wish the actual pen insertion point was deeper though. It's a little shallow and doesn't take much for the pen to fall out. I may have to drill it a tiny bit.

Ink well
This isn't an actual working ink well, which is what I was expecting. It is just decorative, but will work for what I am needing it for

Looks great, thought that it was actually hollow
Looks great, thought that it was actually hollow, but it only had a small angled "tunnel" to fit a pen tip. If that is okay, it's great.

Not an Ink Well
This is not a Ink Well. It's a Decoration that the Lid does not Move as what you see is a Solid cast One piece Nib Dipper.

we put an old feather in it and it's beautiful!
My own fault for not reading...thought it was an actual ink well, instead of a display item. But, we put an old feather in it and it's beautiful!

Nice decorator piece
Just like you see it. Not real deep for a feather pen, but I read it can be bored deeper. Received quickly from seller.

Looks nice, but not effective.
The pen only sits at the very top of the "bottle," making it hard to stand up. A gentle breeze knocks the pen over.
