Leick Home Mission Coffee Table, 48", Medium Oak

This coffee table is quite tall compared with what I'm used to, but it fits my needs perfectly. I am using it as a stand for a big TV and sound bar. The table is very sturdy. It is a dark wood, finished nicely. Very heavy for a coffee table. I like the slate. All parts were there (and one extra "foot"). It was easy to assemble, but a hint: to put the legs on easily, get the table together and turn it upside down on a carpet or something that won't hurt the top. Put the shelf on (remember to put it upside down on the upside down table so both tops point down); put in the little metal holders and level them; turn the table back upside up. This just makes it easy. Even puny I can do it! The table feels and appears to be very sturdy. Functionality: It would be a good coffee table to fit with a good sized couch. I have antique furniture which was made for smaller people, so the coffee table would not work well as a coffee table with my furniture; it would be too large. But it is perfect for a large TV; the stand will fit and the sound bar will fit in front of it. And I still have the shelf to fill.

Beautiful table. Sturdy and easy to assemble. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the color of the slate inserts are very dark gray. Not what I was expecting. The multi colored slate in the photo is what originally attracted me to the table.

It’s beautiful and strong and the drawers move real smooth. It’s bigger than I expected. It was easy to assemble.

This really is a beautiful coffee table. Emphasis on solid wood – – very solid, no composite materials whatsoever. Also, it comes in four pieces, with eight bolts… Took about 10 minutes to assemble, and very solid once assembled. Really quality materials. It came very slightly damaged, but Amazon gave us a discount, and we kept the table because it’s not worth the hassle of trying to return it, and we love it! Buy with confidence.

This rating would be higher if they did not advertise this table as solid wood. The top definitely has a wood veneer. The table should be described as it actually is, so that people don't have the wrong impression when they purchase it. The price was awfully low for a solid wood table so I should have known better. The type of moisture damage it has is indicative of a wooden veneer, not solid wood. Honestly the price is not that bad even if it is wood veneers but the surface does damage quite easily. Considering how much use a coffee table gets they could have put a better sealant on the top. I'm not really salty about the water damage but I am really annoyed that they advertise it as hardwood and did not clarify that the top is veneer. If they had clarify that I probably still would have bought it but put a coat of polyurethane on myself.

This table looks nice. The drawers are very nicely made. It’s also very easy to assemble. The problem I have, it needs to stay in one spot. If you have a recalling couch and want to push the table out to recline or pull close to eat it won’t work for you. The top moves a little and feels lose and the table is heavy. If you were to slide it around I don’t think it would last long. I was planning on using it in my TV room but had to use it in the front room instead. Needed a coffee table in there as well but not want I was hoping for. Hint— attach plastic moving ez slides to the feet of your coffee table for effortless sliding. Unfortunately even that won’t work with this table.

Great table with drawers nice color.

I love this table. It is very solid, easy to assemble and it is the perfect size for my small living room. My only complaint is with the packing as the bag containing the bolts and washers was open and all the parts rattled around in the box, breaking up the styrofoam! The parts were all there but my house was full of tiny pieces of styrofoam!

Product was nice design but poor quality finish. Poor quality control in construction and finishing. Quite a bit of damage in shipping. Would not recommend this product.

This table looks more expensive than it is. It’s very sturdy and a perfect size for a relatively small room. I’m very happy with it. It was well packed and did need to be put together but it was a simple (though heavy) job.

The finished product meets our expectation and we are quite happy with it. As part of the assembly however the lower shelf needs to be installed with the table upside down and very little detail provided in the instructions. During this process the weight of the shelf broke two legs away from the table unit as the screws were not able to hold it together. After reattaching the legs with slightly longer screws the unit is now very solid.
