Was thinking about star rating. My wife has an iPad mini. This one is not as polished and not as high resolution, but I paid $400 for that iPad. So, for what it does and how much it costs it's a solid 5. Call it a law of diminishing returns, iPad is better, but not much better for watching movies or playing Angry Birds.My younger one is 8 years old. I knew we would need a second tablet, too many drops on the carpet and too many food smudges on display. Were going to have a car trip 3 hours away to visit science museum and have a zombie room adventure with friends. If you never been to one, check it out, just like this tablet you get a lot for your buck.So, ordered the start of the week, got it in 2 days, made sure I have Chrome, Flipboard - just to see resolution, a few kids games like Swordigo, Temple Run, and Epic. Also, put the Lego movie on my 32Gb SD card. My daughter lit up when saw it - a tablet of her own. For movies and games this tablet is great - bright, colorful display. For web browsing and news it's Ok, very usable, but iPad is better. Don't know about battery longevity since I charged overnight, but 3 hour trip was fine. For the longer trip I would take a car charger anyway. Tablet is very sturdy, my wife does not flinch every time we hear a thump in the background, everybody's happy.Overall, I would recommend this to anybody who has kids or nieces, nephews, grandkids, etc. For what your kid is going to do with it there is not much difference between this and a more expensive brand. The only choice would be between this and a larger 9 inch one. The difference in price is negligible, but 9" will be slightly heavier and bulkier. Anyway, I would be interested to try 9 inch one also. My nephew's birthday is coming up, we will see, might splurge a little.

My 5 years old son likes it, this is important. My impression that it is realy not so bad tablet for the price. Pictures are sharp, the battery is not bad either - the tablet was real helper for us in the recent long trip.No complains about the internet connection -youtube works good.So far my impression is quite positive, hope it won't change with the time.

Nice tablet doesn't hold a charge for long. Main problem the charge broke, tip that connects to tablet broke and have no way of charging the tablet now.

I ordered separate transactions and they both arrived together which was greatly appreciated. Also my daughter loves this item she's on it all day everyday after school. No problems with downloading, great quality will purchase a few more for my other kids.

Took a chance and bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She liked it. Two months later, she still likes it.The good:* It's pretty responsive.* Pretty durable (she dropped it or threw it and the case started to come apart, but snapped back together and haven't had an issue since). I'd rather the case come slightly apart than have the shock crack the screen.* Plays all the games she likes/wants to play thus far.The not exactly good or bad:* Batter lasts at least a couple of hours while she is playing with it. Battery could be a lot better, could be a lot worse too.* Picture quality is alright. Again, she likes it, thats all that matters.The bad:* Resolution isn't HD. Not even close. Saying this thing has an HD display is nothing short of false advertising.* Even though it's labeled as such, there is no bluetooth functionality. I have both Android and BlackBerry tablets, never had a problem finding bluetooth. Again, the one we got, just doesn't have it. Maybe we got an older model...somehow I doubt it.Overall it seems a decent tablet. Cheap enough for what it is (and what it isn't). It holds up to my 10 year old daughter, and thats good enough.I might buy another one for my son, since I have an idea of what to expect. Then again I may look elsewhere.Not a bad tablet, not a bad price, but both could pretty easily be better.

Good tablet for price. Order was shipped quickly. It came precharged, which is great. I was disappointed it did not come preloaded with games.

Not very durable, I can't recommend this tablet

Terrible battery life... The screen has a terrible picture as well
