Best stove by a mile
I only have one regret with my purchase, that's not buying one years ago.Had firemaple & msr, but this is a whole new level.Bought the 3 flex support too, as I have the Petrel G3, and it's a perfect partner.Boils 40 % faster than my other stoves, almost silent in comparison too.Beautifully constructed, excellent in fairly stiff winds, light and compact. Absolutely recommend this stove. The best imo.

Best backpacking stove on the market made exceptional quality that can really cook and simmer.
The Rolls-Royce of backpacking stoves of exceptional quality and design. This is a very special stove in fiction and design. It's called the wind-master because it can be used in high winds and bad weather conditions without a wind shield. This stove can really cook delicate food's like eggs omelet's because it can simmer on low levers of heat making it a real cooking stove This stove has regulator to keep pressure going when the gas canister gets low and in cold climates. The top stand is spring loaded for removal pack the stove in a small package inside most pots.. This is a very proven design and the best stove technology on the market today.. The stove quality and. design is very special indeed... highly recommend..

Serious Stove!
I decided to drop some dollar on a better stove after purchasing a cheap Lixada gas stove which nearly set me and my tent on fire (!). I bought a replacement Lixada and it had the same fault, if you moved the gas canister the flame would shoot up like a flamethrower - lethal! Obviously some gas control issues/dangerous design...I spent quite awhile researching and this stove seemed to crop up on most lists - what caught my eye was the lightweight/compact design and wind resistance (its in the name!) It was between this and the MSR Pocket Rocket Deluxe, however this was cheaper..3 things I want to say to anyone who buys this - first do not be tempted as I did to tighten up the rivets on the stove supports. I thought they were quite loose so hammered them closed, only to realise after using the stove that some oxidation etc happens on the these arms and they were basically welded open. I have managed to loosen the rivets just about so I can fold the arms back in, but have also discovered in so doing it is next to impossible to buy the 4 support arms in the UK as a replacement, so look after them and don't do what I did!Secondly the first couple of times I have used it there was a bit of a "burnt plastic" smell which seems to have gone now I assume it is because it is newLastly I thought I would order the triflex support - probably shouldn't have bothered, it is very small so unless you use a tiny pot I would stick with the 4 arm support. I use a Sea To Summit Sigma pan and Ridgemonkey toaster which are quite wide and fits the 4 arm one better.Aside from that I haven't used it in very cold temps or in a gale so can't comment on how it would perform in those conditions. I would take "wind proof" with a pinch of salt as the whole thing would probably blow over in moderate winds. Need to get some canister legs too! But in all it is solidly made, can go like a jet engine if you turn it up, but most importantly you get good control for lower temperatures, required if you are delicately cooking a cheese toastie and don't want to burn the bread!
