Love it, Love it, love it.
Man I love this flute. Its my first real flute of two that I have and it sounds way better than my other more expensive Windpony wooden flute that I just got. This flute is so easy to play cause of the small holes that you can cover easy and it sound so clear. And its easy to do that note when you cover all the holes. The versatility on this thing is great. You can do ALL the little flute tricks and styles on this thing and to top things off it will last forever cause its plastic. Im actually doing hiphop beats on this flute. And I dont have to worry about it getting worn out. Looking forward to mastering this thing. And it sounds so real Native American sounding. Great Flute. If your thinking about buying. Buy it rite now.

Perfect!
Comes with a great fingering chart, and the CD is great. Wish I had one made of wood for aesthetic purposes, but the plastic serves its purpose here in making a low cost excellent sounding durable flute. Great for anyone thats beginning to explore music, amazing for experienced flautists. The tone will be airy and soft when you first try, but if you practice for a couple days and play with the plastic cover position, it can sound full, takes vibrato well, and can be louder. The only downside is the lack of a true upper register like most flutes have, blowing harder with a tighter embouchure does not get you up an octave.

Native American-Style Flute
It's ok for learning I guess. I was disappointed in the sound quality. Better to go for a higher quality flute.

Good Value for The Money
As a native American myself I became interested in the flute after visiting the Cherokee National Holidays in Oklahoma. I just love the sounds. I purchased this flute to see if I could learn how to play and right away I found the flute simple and easy to learn. The sound isn't as good as a wooden flute but is a great beginner flute; very good value for the money. It would have been nice to have a video on how to play the flute, I learn much better by seeing than by listening. Bill

Inexpensive Introduction to Native Flute
I love it. It is a simple instrument to learn the basics. It is sturdy and requires no maintainence. The CD and booklet are designed for those without music experience. More songs would be nice, but there is enough to get started. This a not a professional instrument, but is an inexpensive introduction to native flute.

Cheap
This is nothing but an elongated plastic tube. Was quite disappointed when my daughter opened it for X-mas. Not what I was expecting at all.

Not Good
The sound is sketchy at best and sometimes jumpy. Do not waste your money on this flute. My wood Native American Flute is a joy to play and is more consistent.I suggest you look at other Native American Flutes.

Grate way to learn
I always wanted to learn the native american flute but did not want to spend too much money because I did not know if I could learn it or not. I love this is is cheap but just wonderful to learn and the CD it comes with is invaluable for a beginner like me.After a month of learning it I am starting to get good enough to let others hear me. Though I think this instrument is mainly to sooth the one playing it. The instruction sheet also gives good information on converting regular sheet music to this flute. Also my blood pressure has gone down with this.
