Whitmor Magnetic Laundry Valet Hanging Rod - White

Easy to install - 2 minutes and supports all clothes possibly minus heavy overcoats. We use for shirts, pants, sweater and such - works great using space otherwise not occupied in our small laundry room.

I don't iron a lot of things, but there a few small things I like to touch up with an iron after they come out of the dryer. I use an ironing pad on top of the dryer, but never had a handy place to hold the items out of the way until they were ready to transport upstairs. So I love the concept of this hanging valet, and it is mostly what I hoped it would be, just not as sturdy as I would like.My dryer sits too close to the floor to use the screw-in feet. The base plate slides under the machine and fortunately the magnet to hold it to the side of the dryer is strong, so I don't expect that to be a problem. The pole is in 3 pieces. The two vertical poles snap together where the side magnet is located. Here's my issue with it: this connection has too much play, it's not a secure, stiff lock. I expect it it will hold together, but I dislike rickety-feeling, loose connections in anything, especially utilitarian items like this. I like things simple and sturdy and all the pieces stay together securely when the item is used properly, you know? It's not asking much!

So, while "lifesaver" may sound a bit extreme, this product is exactly what I needed! We recently sold our house, without very much notice, and are temporarily in a rental home. While the home is quite large overall, the laundry room is old and quite small. I always hang garments as soon as the dryer stops so to reduce wrinkles. Plus, I've learned if I don't hang promptly clothes tend to stay unhung until its time to wash again ;) All that to say, with absolutely no room for a garment rack in my new laundry room, I had become unproductive in the laundry department. When I saw this pop up, I ordered it immediately, despite having no reviews.I am terrible at putting things together because I never take the time to read instructions. Fortunately for me, the assembly is simple and intuitive. I had it on my machine within minutes of delivery. My husband had a friend walk in about the time I was putting it on and stopped in awe, "Wow, that is incredible!". He has since told me his wife ordered one.I have been using it for 2 days without issue. It only holds 5-7 garments at a time, due to space not weight load, so I do have to unload and start again for larger loads; however, no complaints. I can't say enough good about this, as its truly such a functional product that I have never seen elsewhere. Every person without room for a hanging rod in their laundry room or nearby should buy one of these!

Very useful. Fits great in my small space.This is sturdy and was easy to assemble. Exactly what I needed for my small laundry area.

Not happy with this item and Amazon only gives you exactly a short amount of time to see if this will work and return it or not, so they won't let me return it it hasn't even been open but it definitely won't work some of us are busy! So beware you only have 30 days that's it and then you're stuck with the item.. so I guess I'm done

Super easy to assemble and install. Perfect for my tight laundry space. Holds all of my clothes just fine. The magnet is very strong but easy to move if needed

This is a great size and I like the design overall. The drawback is the inefficient magnets that do not stay and one side is weaker than the other. Everything else is fine but why would they skimp on the magnets? Makes it not usable as advertised and intended.

Good for shirts and to hang dry jerseysI have a tight fitting space and this is good for shorter items to hand above the dryer

Easy to put together. Magnet is super strong. Levels on feet easy to adjust. I have it attached to washer. Holds perfect amount of sweaters. Definitely would buy again. I actually want another one for dryer, but I don’t have room as our dryer is tight against wall and water softener is tight against other side of dryer.

I find the price a bit steep for a simple rod with magnet, but I love the idea, so I ordered it anyway.The magnet seems strong and I'm sure it would work, but silly me, I assumed washing machines were standard sized. As it is, mine is not high enough, so the magnet is actually about 1cm above my machine.So make sure you measure before you order.
