It's made of strong, durable material. I've had my hat for weeks now through sweat, rain, salt and snow but it's holding up well; I haven't experienced any bleeding or ink fading that others have. The hat is also deep enough to sit comfortably on my head without feeling like I'm wearing a child's hat like so many do! The strap on the back is very generous to allow a lot of adjustment and there are three Velcro patches for you to customize your new hat in any way you see fit. My only complaints and the reasons for giving 4 out of 5 stars is that the Velcro on the front of mine was SLIGHTLY askew and the way it was shipped did not protect the hat. However, the Velcro really isn't noticeable and I imagine shipping is one of the only ways Condor could offer the hat at such a reasonable price.

I ordered the multi-cam version and was worried after reading some of the reviews posted. Someone even posted a photo of a cheap rip-off, dollar store looking hat they claimed is what they got in the mail. All I can say is when I ran to the mailbox (well more of an airborne shuffle) and came inside I was amazed because my hat looked pretty identical to the one shown in the image on Amazon. So I can only speak for myself, but when I put it on I didn't even have to adjust it, it fit great. It had the condor tag on it and the material it is made from is pretty high quality in my opinion. Many people might think it is crazy to get so excited over a hat, but I am a very picky hat guy. So to get a top quality, brand name hat for the amazing price offered is an awesome deal. To the people that gave this hat crappy reviews because of the Velcro all over it...ATTENTION, it is an operator hat, it is meant to have Velcro so you can put awesome patches or whatever on it. If you want a hat without Velcro then do not order an operator hat. I seen a hat the other week at a tactical shop and was very disappointed. It was some fake marine wannabe camo and rocked a $16 price tag. The flag patch for it was another $6, so I will definitely order from these guys again. I am waiting on my patches now. As far the buckle in the back it seems legit to me. If it starts to loosen as I wear it then I will pop a stitch in it...too easy. So in my opinion, this hat is a solid, if you want an awesome hat that you can pop Old Glory on the front, rock your name tape on the back, and maybe even throw an IR patch on top then this IS the one for you! It also shipped in 3 days!!! You have to overlook the negative reviews because apparently they did not even know what kind of hat they were ordering. I would recommend this hat to others and I will probably buy a few more. But as for now, I have an awesome new hat to drink my cold beer in!!!

I love the Condor tactical cap, I own 3 and will buy more. The quality is great and it fits well. I don’t but other caps because I found the right one that fits perfectly. I am picky when it comes tos to quality and fit and the Condor cap is perfect for me.

Condor hats are the best bang for your buck and absolutely love them . I bought the olive drab to replace one I've had for about 6 years and has been through a lot of wear and tear . The only issue I had was the crown on the replacement even though low profile sat high on my head and pushed down on my ears . There is an easy fix to this that will give you a perfect fit and it isnt putting it in a washer and dryer , do not and i repeat do not do this ! It will only scuff the material on the edge of the brim and cause premature fraying. First you'll want to put a pan of water on untill it's simmering ( no need to boil ) transfer enough water into another pot to soak the hat brim up for about 5 to 10 minutes , I tranfered pots as to avoid any chance of a hot pan leaving marks on the hat . While the hats soaking preheat your oven to 300 degrees, get a cookie sheet and lay down a hand towel in it to once again avoid leaving marks on the hat , roll up a couple wash clothes to sit under the brim because the brim is going to flatten out due to the heat ( for this reason do not get the brim wet because when it flattens out there is a chance the material on the brim will wrinkle when you reform it ). Once your ready for the oven wring the hat out , undo the buckel, set it on the cookie sheet crown up ,place the rolled up wash clothes under the brim and bake the hat for 15 to 20 minutes at a time untill it's dry . When it's finished you can take it out and form the brim ,once its cooled down it will hold its shape . If the brim is left with wrinkles hand dab them with hot water and use a hot hair dryer and it will pull them out . I have a small head but after doing this it fit just like my old broken in one , perfectly !

I’ve always found it hard to find a hat that sits low enough on my head so that the wind won’t blow it off and this one fits me perfect. Also, the beak of it has more coverage than your average hat to give you perfect sun shading. The patch on the front is 2” tall by 3” long and fits most patches well. It also has a small Velcro spot on the top of the hat that would be good for an IR strobe if you’re doing any kind of night vision work. The back of the hat also has a Velcro strip for a name tag if need be, it’s curved so it can be tricky to fit a longer patch on it but will work well with most name patches.
